with cassano being AGAIN linked to us,who knows what the future holds for zlatan.
Totally mate. But whatever happens regarding cassano, we should still sell zlatan. And why dont capello play mutu up front? When he first come to Juve, everyone said that he would play in a Del piero kind of position, not being stuck on the wing!:)

Even if Zlatan left(HE WON'T), I don't even see Cassano start over DP, Mutu and Trez. Makes no sense at all. We need a bigger guy to replace Zalayeta and that's it. 1st things to do is get a good CB and RB.

Exactly, if zlatan leaves, and we get cassano, that means one of del piero or mutu would have to leave. And we should defo keep del piero.
We need new more offensive central midfielder too:)

Cassano ponders Italian return Tuesday 11 April, 2006

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Antonio Cassano could be on the verge of ending his Real Madrid career in favour of a return to Italian football.

Reports in Spain and Italy over the past few days are suggesting that the youngster may be tempted for a quick peninsula comeback after failing to settle at the Bernabeu.

Juventus, at the request of boss Fabio Capello who coached him at Roma, and Inter are monitoring his situation with interest.

Cassano only joined the Madrid outfit in January after Roma accepted a £3.5m offer for the player who would have been out of contract in June.

Although the attacker had hoped that his Real move would help him regain his form in time for the World Cup, the youngster who the Giallorossi signed for £20m has disappointed.

In the 97 days that he has been with Real, Cassano has played just 479 minutes which have been spread over 14 games.

He’s only scored twice, against Real Betis and Atletico Madrid, while he’s been handed a starting jersey on just three occasions.

His lack of an impact is now also starting to lead to jeers from disgruntled fans and criticism from the Spanish media who did hail his arrival just a matter of months ago.

Cassano will now ponder his options at the end of the season and may consider an exit with Juventus still keen.

Capello has always insisted that Cassano is the future of Italian football and a summer bid could take place.

Especially with some reports in Italy on Tuesday suggesting that Alessandro Del Piero could leave his beloved Old Lady in the summer for an experience abroad.

Yet Inter are also in the running if they decide to refresh their attacking options given the uncertainty over whether Adriano is part of their new project or not.

then we need this guy to left:

Italian clubs monitor Joaquin Monday 10 April, 2006

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Real Betis midfielder Joaquin Sanchez could be playing in Italy next season after admitting that he is pondering his future.

“I’ve been here for five years,” he said. “I feel that it might be time for me to change my objectives, to continue my maturing process in a different environment.”

Joaquin, a Spanish international, is currently tied to the Liga outfit until June 2010 but a number of clubs do like his skills.

Although sides in Spain and England are understood to be keen, the winger also has admirers in Italy.

He’s been heavily linked with Juventus in the past and they could make a bid for the player if he was made available for transfer.

Boss Fabio Capello is understood to be a big fan and his ability on the flanks could be of some use to the Delle Alpi outfit.

Although the Bianconeri have already signed Marco Marchionni from Parma on a free transfer, they are set to lose Mauro Camoranesi.

The Argentine-born Italian is said to be on his way out of the club after a season of mixed form and indiscipline.

No need to be sorry Stephan,I just think that we need a long term solution for the Nedved's replacement...don't be angry mate.:)
dont laugh, but it might be cassano, he might play am for juve, atleast that i read from another forum.

though cassano is not a playmaker kind of player, but mabey joaquin will be nedved successer, or we make a move to riquelme/mancini? but the biggest problem is actually the formation and cap, if we stick to 4-4-2 then we dont need nedved replacement, any winger will do then.

And Pires for Arsenal...those are the guys using right foot and could play at the both sides of the field, but the most Parma's games I wached,Marchionni played as a RW or as a Central Midfielder.
