hmm.. not bad if we go for Emerson and Jankulovski, to Oddo i don't know him, i would go for another defender, i don't understand why don't we try to get Ferrari or Mexes or Chivu, but ok!

what i don't like is that Maresca is part of the deal, i hope it will not happen!!!!!

Hmm..? do you guys think Moggi has a surprise or is emerson the big signing?

We have in CB position Thuram, Legrottaglie, Iuliano, Tudor, MOntero, Zebina, Ferrara. IMO Tudor will be sold, and probably Iuliano. For 2 places there are 5 players. But in right back position we have only Birindelli. Thuram will play in CB. So, we definitely need a right back. The LB position IMO is full with Janku, Zambrotta (he will play in midfield) and in occasion Birindelli. (or Chiellini, if he will not be loaned out)

Wow, that leaves us with one good central defender and no good fullbacks. Brilliant...

I agree, this is another Moggi-Screen. Remember the recent "the new coach will be DD or Prandelli"?

I think Moggi will make a triple swoop and pick up Emo, Gilardino and Bonera shortly.

Those are most likely. I don't see us getting Mexes, although if we did, that would be some REALLY skillful work behind the scenes. Cavenaghi? Not unless we miss out on Gilardino and can't ditch Salas.

Its obvious that the "Big Suprise" is going to be a defender. Defenders are what juve needs most this time and there isn´t a good defender bought yet so the suprise has to be a a good defender.

i think that we will have the best team and squad if capello do this things
1- let Legrottaglie back to his best like before juve buy him
2-treze do his best in the whole season
    3-tacchi back to his best
4-buy janko and oddo and emerson and gila if we can
    5-let maresca stay

    ------------------buffon--------------
    oddo-----thuram----legro---janko

    zambo--maresca---tacchi--nedved

    --------treze--------dp--------

or if we sell maresca and i dont want this

    -----------------buffon-------------

    zambo---thuram---legro--janko
    (oddo) (montero)

    camo----emerson--tacchi--nedved
    (zambo) (mresca)

    -------treze--------dp-------

Moggi is a very strange person. He doesnt even lie just to ourselves but he even lies to himself!! Just compare the following articles from the past week and you will see:

    Juve transfer plans revealed
Posted by Alex | Football Italia

Juventus director general Luciano Moggi has spoken about the club’s transfer plans for this summer.

The Bianconeri have been linked with numerous players so far but Moggi has narrowed down the club’s objectives.

He’s revealed that his outfit are looking to sign Roma’s Emerson, Marek Jankulovski (pictured) of Udinese and Lazio defender Massimo Oddo.

"Juventus will only make a cash offer for Emerson," he stated. "Jankulovski and Oddo will be swap deals."

Reports suggest that Udinese will net Enzo Maresca or Matteo Brighi in exchange, while Mark Iuliano will be offered to the capital club.

The Turin giants were also linked with a new central defender but a move for Daniele Bonera of Parma seems off. "We don’t need him," added Moggi.

Juve also seem to have pulled out of negotiations to sign Fabio Cannavaro as Inter wanted Marco Di Vaio in return – a departure that boss Fabio Capello is understood to have blocked.

What about bids for Inter striker Christian Vieri or a reunion with Edgar Davids? "They’ve both been here in the past and warmed up dinners rarely prove successful," he added.

The transfer guru was then asked whether Juve could still swoop for Parma hotshot Alberto Gilardino.

"He is a great player and very young," he explained. "He would be perfect for the future but he will probably stay at Parma."

Juve to buy just one more
    Thursday, 08 July 2004

    by Lorenzo Zacchetti
Juventus' general manager Luciano Moggi has confirmed to skysports.com that the Bianconeri will make just one more signing this summer.
The Turin giants have already bagged Olivier Kapo, Giorgio Chiellini and Jonathan Zebina - and Moggi has confirmed they will not be adding many more to their squad.

They have been linked with moves for Christian Vieri and Edgar Davids in the past few weeks - but Moggi has insisted that they are unlikely to return.

"They [Vieri and Davids] both played for us in the last few seasons and we know them well, but we don't believe in comebacks," Moggi told skysports.com.

"As for the forward line we have complete trust in Alessandro Del Piero. I am sure he will be a star next season.

"Zebina will be a great signing for us, you'll see. There will only be one more new player for when the team gathers for our training camp."

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Is he crazy?

First he says he is going to buy three player and then he says he is going to buy only one!

I hate him...., but also love him

    They can't even translate.

Moggi said that they are working on bringing Emerson, Jankulovski, Oddo and possibly Gilardino(loan to Parma for one year) and that ONE player will be presented 15-17 of July.

We could see a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 new players for the 2004-2005 roster.
