I don't know if it will win game of the year, but Uncharted 2 will give it a run for its money for sure (and we have to wait and see how Assassin's Creed 2 does)

to a lesser extent, games like Infamous and Batman: Arkham Asylum will be contenders as well for game of the year.

From what iv heard about CODMW2, they have gone too far and a lot of people are saying that its not fun anymore....such as going through an airport randomly killing civilians. I just think that other games will be better and no games in series have won game of the year before in any magazine (as in fallout 2 and 3 both winning etc.).

ummm both Uncharted 2 and AC2 are big releases. Batman went platinum hits withing the first month, so that turned out to a big release also. Just because they don't sell as much as Call of duty doesn't make them a small release.

and I don't get how big relases has to do with critic ratings. Psychonauts was one of the best games ever on the last gen consoles, to many critics. yet it sold very little. It was still better than the many "big games" releases on the previous consoles.

If you go to gamestop, put 5 bucks down on GOW III and see if they give you a code for the demo

you know what. I', going to do the same thing with GOW3 that I did with MW2 and Uncharted 2. I'm going to ignore all trailers, screens, previews, demos..etc. This way The game will be fresh for me and will make me enjoy the surprises more
