Hey...

I just wanted to know if anybody of you like any modern music work or soundtrack.

Raw music without singing. I feel the human voices destroy the music :D

I like "The Recruit" soundtrack for Klaus Badelt, especially "Hijacked" part.

One of my favorites from the Arab music also is Al-Jawareh "The Predators". It was a great hit in the Arab music before around 10 years. Here you can listen to it:

What are your favorites?? Just music. Not songs.

Not many people know this, but one the best modern music composers is probably Prince. He can rip it on almost every instrument! The best modern vocalist for me is Mike Patton because of his versatility and creativity. And 2 bands which I worship and that play very modern music according to me, are The Mars Volta and the Dillinger Escape Plan. And besides that of course all the recent jazz greats like Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Chick Corea etc...
