True that. I can't remember a time when he's scored a goal in a match that was important in and of itself. I'm sure it's happened, but it's just amazing that he's able to score 4 goals when the sailing's smooth, but as soon as the stakes get any higher than just 3 points in the league, he seems to disappear.

The most interesting example is France 98. Henry was France's leading goalscorer of the whole tournament, but interestingly enough he didn't score a single goal past the group stages.

he just blatantly sucked in 2002 and 2004, whereas in France 98 he showed that he knows how to score in 'unimportant' matches, but when the going got tough, Henry got going

Which in a nutshell portrays why:

    1) Henry is not the best forward in the world

    2) Arsenal is not a force in Europe

    3) The EPL lacks the class of the other top two leagues

I agree 100%. I also suspect that Arsenal might have a discouraging feeling in the Champions League, as so many have said they can't cut it in Europe. We shall know this April if those pundits are correct. Like Sonya said, you must learn to accept suffering.

those saying that the Premiership is weaker is rubbish, I like all of the leagues, and Italy, Spain and England are on a par.

Oh, just to say something RVN scored 4 last night against Prague!
