I'm new here - and I have to say this is by far the best Juventus community.
I used to frequent the social media sites for Juve related news but it's such a shite experience.
Old school forums are making a comeback in my opinion. Nothing beats those niche corners of the Internet where you can chat with like-minded individuals in an unfiltered, anonymous setting.
I was a member of a popular Facebook Group where we discussed Italian football - but Mark Fuckerberg is the moderator! All it takes is one person to report a post and then you risk losing everything. I also don't like how a bullshit algorithm controls the post and comment order. I much prefer the old school forum structure because it's easier to navigate the different conversation threads. Facebook is also a real shitty platform so the less time spent on that cesspool the better.
I have similar problems with Reddit. Reddit is toxic and North American as fuck. There's also a bullshit algorithm and the place is mostly an echo chamber where people care about karma, so the low-effort posts rank highly. There's also ads and heavy moderation because they can't handle non-American humour.
The BWRAO community is ok but very small. Their website is broken - click to load the comments on an article and 9 times out of 10, there's missing comments and you need to refresh the page. Terrible user experience and a ton of ads.
