Things went south when instead of holding it up and distributing he went back to those stupid flicks with Giovinco.

agreed. Very important for ball possession, even though he lost a clear chance and gets annoying sometimes.

I didn't mean the missed chance caused the Chelsea goal, it just added to the frustration; missing the chance, not having vidal on, and the classic Bon Bon special deflection

English commentators were raving about him first half, he really was good. He missed the chance, but he is never going to be that player who scores them often. He should obviously do better but he never gives the impression of a scorer.

you are confused bc you are wrong. he actually was very good in the first half, and keept the ball well. He also got freekicks on several occasions.

gio on the other hand, made 1-2 good moves for the whole match. most of the time he was dispossesed, laying on the ground, and he got 1 freekick all game. an absolutly disgusting match

I was quite pleased with Vucinic tonight. Shame about the big chance he blew, obviously, but he did some really good stuff apart from that. Gio was the main problem in attack tonight.
