#GdS : #Pjanic 's €32m fee will be
paid by #Juve to #Roma over 3
years. He'll get a contract worth
€4.5m + bonuses

#GdS : #Roma will post a profit of
€27m before June 30 after selling
#Pjanic [what they need to avoid
FFP sanctions]

#GdS : #Sabatini had prepared to
sell #Rudiger for €25m + bonus to
#CFC . But,after his inj #Pallotta
gave his OK to sell #Pjanic on
Wednesday

#GdS : #Juve & #Pjanic have had an
agreement for some time now...
#Allegri is in sync with both the
company & the player..

#TS : #Pjanic - #Juve will be made
official in the next few days. He'll
take his medicals in mid-July [post
vacations]

#TS : #Pjanic has given up his 15%
of his entitlement in his €38m
release clause -> confirm #GdS
report that #Juve will pay €32m
over 3 yrs

#CdS : #Pjanic - #Juve is all but
official. He's given up €7.6m to
become a #Juve player. #Roma will
receive €30.4m

Ok. #CdS actually report that he's
not exactly giving up his €7.6m but
that it'd be inserted into his €4m
net wages

#Stampa 's reliable @MaxNerozzi
also confirms that #Pjanic will be
#Juve 's first summer recruitment.

MaxNerozzi also reports that
#Pjanic has temporarily given up his
15% stake in the release clause.
#Roma get €30m

i´m not worried at all tbh. i mean, apparently pjanic was on vacation and returned to rome just to go back on vacation only a couple of hours later. i doubt he was there just to say hello.
as for di marzio: i think he simply does what he always does when he was late. he says: "well, i obviously knew about everything but it wasn´t entirely done until i said it was done" :p

absolutely brilliant transfer. can´t wait to see the official numbers. i highly doubt that we can get them to spread the payment but... :beppe:

Damn. If you're a Roma fan this is just cruel. Of all the players we could buy, we get the one they think of as their crown jewel.

It annoys me to almost no end that people have reporting about bullshit football deals as a fucking job. But if you're stupid enough to believe that Pjanic is ever going to give up €7.6m, you should be fired on the spot. It's not like he made €20m a year at Roma ffs.

i agree that it´s unlikely that he simply throws away his entire provision.
however, he doesn´t really get to keep the entire sum, does he? i suppose he will have to pay taxes and "only" keep about half of it -> 3.8m.
moreover, considering the reported wages, the difference between playing for roma and playing for juve is something like 2-2.5m net per year. of course you can argue that he could simply join some rich ass team, or run down his contract to get a big bonus but maybe he doesn´t want to do that.
oh, and "we are juve!" ;)

He'll just get the extra money in his wages. I don't know who his manager is, but I assume he'll be able to count.

I posted it some pages back.

That 15% stake will be spread through his 5 year contract.
