I am just wondering who is the guy to be fired in Rome? They will get more or less the same amount for Pjanic, that they've paid for Iturbe or DoUMBia. Yet they cannot cover even their losses on both deals and now they have glaring holes in their squad. The way they are going they might not reach the CL group and its inconceivable for them to have a title shot. One can boldly say they've invested a lot and went backwards.

Yeah, their project has really failed in the sporting department, they invested so much and werent even close to the champions crown. Right now their CL campaing next year is still in doubt. Imo next year Roma will be not fighting for the first three spots with Napoli still strong and Inter getting some money from Chinese owners. They have mostly failed in bringing those overpriced youth players. All of the other Italian teams wont be able to compete financially with us until they build their own stadiums. Roma could really get big raise in finances with it.

I am all for new stadiums, but all the money in the world can't help you if you keep fucking up in your main mission: playing successfully football. When you consider Pjanic sale - its not that we are giving him an obscene amount of money, it is more that we are giving him a place in a well build squad. It will be harder to get playing time here, but he can compete and improve. Roma are a mess - what are the team targets, build a squad for 2020? That is something they can consider realistic and go for it, but you don't add Dzekos or other ~30 year olds in such a scenario. If you want success now - you can't buy under-aged lolzillians either, more so if they cost an arm and a leg.
