Buyback is not the same as release clause dude.

Buyback is negotiated on the selling club's terms in this case Madrid.
but its still an option that you need to activate. how are you gonna activate it if you dont match the asking requirement?

Buyback is set on the selling club's terms as they hold all the leverage here.If we want to buy back Berardi,we wouldnt have to pay it in a single installment.

    There's a clear difference.

Buyback is a glorified loan deal while a release clause isnt.Release clause has to be paid immediately while buyback doesnt necessarily have to be ,so we cant assume Madrid are going to pay all 30M at once.

we dont have an option on Berardi only an agreement with Sassuolo that we will buy him back, while Real has a fixed option on Morata, thats the difference. it says so in the agreement, that we give Real the option to buy him back at the end of the 15/16 (or 16/17) season for an amount of up to 30M. its very clear to me there wont be multiple payments in this deal

We had a buyback for Zaza dint we ?! Zaza's supposed 18M buyback clause paid in 3 yrs.
we didnt have an option to buy Zaza back, only a "gentelemens agreement" to buy him after one season when Sassuolo gave us 7.5M for him. same with Berardi now.

    30m after 1st year. 35m after 2nd year.
no, its up to 30M based on number of performances after 15/16 and 16/17 seasons. he already played the required number of performances so the option reached its maximum of 30M for this season

Roma simply denied that someone paid the 38m euro clause. They didn't deny there is a clause and Mediaset didn't say that Juve paid the clause.
Mediaset said that Juve decided to pay the clause and Roma denied that someone paid the clause for the time being.

On the other hand, Milan are playing an important match with Roma tonight, so this could be Berlu's media attempt to distract Pjanic and Roma.

Both the release and the buyback clause CAN have multiple installments if the contract says so.

Only if Roma was stupid would they include such a thing. Same doesn't go for Real, as Juve insisted on paying in installments itself. That's something only the boards know. Guess work for us.

i never seen it though. so while it could technically be agreed, it never happened before, or atleast not that i know of it. or do you possibly know of an example? here is what the agreement with Real says from our website:

AGREEMENT WITH REAL MADRID FOR THE DEFINITIVE ACQUISITION OF THE PLAYER ALVARO MORATA

Turin, 19 July 2014– Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that the agreement with Real Madrid Club de Fútbol for the definitive acquisition of the registration rights of the player Alvaro Borja Morata Martin has been reached for a consideration of € 20 million payable in three financial years. Furthermore, the agreement provides to Real Madrid the option right to buy back the registration rights of the player, at the end of the 2015/16 season or at the end of the 2016/17 season, at predetermined values, up to a maximum of € 30 million, based onthe number of matches played by Alvaro Morata with Juventus in the relevant season. Juventus and the player have signed a 5-year contract of employment.

Can't remember an exmple but it certainly is possible. The website doesn't exactly state one or multiple installments there. Don't know.

Anyway even if we get it, it's hard to see us spending it all at once. Didn't Bayern pay Vidal in one payment as well last summer?

here is the agreement with Coman for some comparison:

AGREEMENT WITH BAYERN MÜNCHEN FOR THE TEMPORARY DISPOSAL OF THE PLAYER KINGSLEY COMAN

Turin, 30 August 2015 – Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that the agreement with FC Bayern München AG for the temporary disposal, until 30 June 2017, of the registration rights of the player Kingsley Coman has been finalized for a consideration of € 7 million to be paid in two instalments: € 5 million within five days from the release of the International Transfer Certificate and € 2 million on or before 1 July 2016. The agreement also provides Bayern München the option right, to be exercised within 30 April 2017, for the definitive acquisition of the player at a price of € 21 million to be paid in two financial years.

Coman - ...for the definitive acquisition of the player at a price of € 21 million to be paid in two financial years.
Morata - ...at the end of the 2015/16 season or at the end of the 2016/17 season, at predetermined values, up to a maximum of € 30 million
i think its clear Moratas option is to be paid at once

I see your point, but that is still only your interpretation. It is still not mentioned as being one payment. For a number of reasons they can keep that information undisclosed. For instance criticism as the deal was already scrutinised bu many fans back then.

Pjanić is a Real Madrid fan, his idol is Zinedin Zidane.
He will wait whole summer for Real and I can bet you that his agent will hold talks or offer Miralem to them.
If Real lose CL final there will be shuffle in roster and Pjanić will have a great chance to fulfill his dream. He wont sing for Juve until situation in Madrid clears. You can bet on it. And close this troll thread.
