You really are a special boy, aren't you?

Funny how shortly after Pjanic joined he was briging in numbers and was criticized for glorified "stat padding". Now he has been delivering performances for a while now but without the stat padding he is undervalued.

Like someone below mentioned he isn't Pirlo or even Bonucci in the sense that you won't see a lot of 40+ yard passes that unlock a defense. Doesn't mean he is having a poor game.
I liked him better when he was a "statpadder". Much more ballsy on the ball with a good offensive production.

Nowadays he's too scared to dribble past players or make vertical passes.

So you actually believe this? lol!
That we tried to bring a 100m player back in the last days of the window, after having spent way more than we ever did. And we wanted to buy him for cash, but were then surprised they didn't want our money but Pjanic instead, which clearly was a no go for us?

That's an interesting story.

Maybe some of the unfair criticism is based on the fact that he doesnt have a dynamic midfielder to complement him thus taking the blame for distribution,Defense, and alsodynamic offensive plays all by himself although he plays in a 3 man midfield. Id still like to see Berna at rcm just to see how that would work. Could be easily transitioned into a 4-2-3-1 and I think Matuidi and Pjanic could handle the defensive duties
Yeah the old excuse has always been that his teammates are shit and making him look bad.
Even if he is supported in his special regista role, by not one, but two other CMs.

Those two other CMs have been doing their job pretty well though. But we expect something more than passes back to Bonucci and Chiellini, from our 3rd highest earner?

it says nowhere we offered them 100M, calma. and its from di Marzio, so reliable enough to be a possibility

looked really close, didn't see one pass back to Bonucci and Chiellini. he's not at the top of his form atm, but that doesn't change that he's a very skilled and smart midfielder who clearly offers more than what you described

lol, why would they put a boring back pass in a compilation of his best plays throughout his career. That's the most funny 'proof' ever

This made me think that highlight vid of Pjanič would consist only of those passes as apparently that's all he does. How come there's not a single one of them there? :p I guess he does loads of other things as well :p

Haha ok, got your point! Yeah seems he can do other stuff too. Lets hope he will do more of that and less of the other! He should have a higher ceiling than what we see now.

Juve sweat over Pjanic injury | Football Italia
Juventus are sweating over the fitness of Miralem Pjanic after the midfielder left Bosnia-Herzegovina’s training camp with a muscle injury.
The Bosnian FA confirmed on its official website that Pjanic picked up an injury towards the end his country’s goalless draw with Austria on Thursday.
Since then, Calciomercato.com and Sky Sport Italia have added that the 28-year-old is on his way back to Turin, where he will be assessed for Juve’s next game against SPAL.
The Bianconeri are already light in midfield as Emre Can is out for the foreseeable future with a thyroid problem.
