That is 'cause Soft Pjanic needs the right support around him. Players to make runs and players to give him soem physical support and leadership. Under the right circumstances, he can dominate and dictate a game. But unliek the best, he lacks the last bit.

Give him Can and a physical beast liek SMS, and he'll be up there again among the best.

Because he was amazing last year and first half of this year when he had any kind of support. As soon as Matuidi and Khedira lost their step he couldn't do everything himself. Defensively it's ok, but he needs support in forward movement and more options to look for on the opposing half.
