Pjanic is so underrated on this forum it's crazy. He's great under pressure, something that is very important in his position. Makes everything look easy (the reason people underrate him probably). Those subtle body feints he makes to create time for himself are joy to watch.

Just read the last couple of pages and you see he's not. He is by far our best midfielder and gets shat on on consistent basis.

It wouldn't make sense at all for us to "replace" Pjanic with Modric. Modric is still WC but there's not that much time in him left. Pjanic can stay for many years to come here and he'll only get better as the time passes by.

I would argue it would make a lot of sense even if we bring in an older Modric. Bentancur is waiting in the wings , maybe Mandragora as well if given an opportunity. In a couple of seasons , either of them could take over from Modric.

Bentancur is a special talent and it would be a matter of time he becomes a regular here. Hope we dont waste his potential here.

I prefer Pjanic to stay but wont be upset if we replace him with a 33 year old Modric. At this age, he's still comfortably better than Pjanic IMO.
