Pepe is worth 10 mil, at least hes sweating to win every ball comes on his way and trying his best to help the team to score. his work rate is impressive and its what we lacked in the last season, the only time they really try hard to win was against merda and they managed to get result.

its encouraging to have players like Pepe who can work hard for you, when hes fighting for the ball ull abviously help him because you wont stand and wait because ull look stupid waiting and watch him run and del neri will ask every one to fight like him IMO...
I get the hardworking part but if we are paying 10 Mil for a guy to start its cool but if he is going to be a bench player wouldn't it be wiser to get a cheaper options at least that 10 million could have been used elsewhere.

better option than spending more millions on bad players like poulsen, tiago, amauri...etc

i dont know the actual transfer budget but i think spending just 10 mil on player like Pepe who can fight for the shirt is worth more than spending on players who take vacation in turin.

i know that he doesnt have the best skills but we missed that kind of fighters. real juventino spirit

Better we get Krasic, than spunk our load on Dzeko. One of our most obvious problems last season was lack of skill on the ball, especially from our midfield. I don't remember seeing a game in which anyone but Diego looked anything near comfortable, on the ball. DP also likes the ball, but as he could often only ever expect a decent pass from Diego, life was tough for him, as it was for our other strikers. By 'decent pass', I mean defence splitting, passes that take out several opposition players and put one of our players in on goal, with just the keeper to beat...Diego was well marked in every game he played, often sandwiched between two pitballs. No wonder he had a torrid time...every match other than a handful advertised how to beat Juventus : Mark Diego, and make marchisio, sissoko, melo, poulsen be the creators.

Had Camo been fit for longer periods, we would likely have seen a better Diego, because having just one more player in the midfield, who can not only pass, but likes recieving and playing with the ball, frees up the shackles on the brazilian.

Marchiso and Melo, or swapping in either for Momo. or poulsen...is majorly industry over flair. Marchiso can provide decent passes, but not yet consistently. Melo tries to do too much, though again has brief flashes of class. Momo and Poulsen, forced to be playmakers, is a foul thing to see.

Excuse the rambling. My point was...Krasic adds to the team, to this present team, much more than Dzeko does.

As much as I have very little faith in Amauri, it wouldnt surprise me to see him score 20 goals in a season, if he has Krasic/pepe/lanzafame/martinez/motta/NEW LEFT BACK WHO CAN CROSS on the flanks. He could probably score that many headers. Which I hope is the easiest skill for him to regain, as his heading has been always the one part of his game which seems world class. not last season though...

If Trez manages to stay fit. the same applies.
With Iaquinta/Trez/Amauri, all fit, and vying for ONE position, we are covered.

The shame about Giovinco's loan, or co-ownership with whoever is lucky enough to grab him, is that I had hoped that DP would be injured for a while...just a month or 6, so that Del Neri would be forced to have Giovinco stay as Diego's backup in the support striker position. I still dream of that Gio/Trez combination.
