Saying that he's a poor mans Giovinco is very silly IMO. Sanchez is a much better player than Seba while being one year young, which is not even important so lets put that aside.

Giovinco uses his speed more but there's just no way that he's a better dribbler than Alexis. He's much stronger, has a better shot and moves into center much better than Giovinco. Under the right guidance he can become one of the best wingers IMO.

Similar thing said Alex Ferguson, he said that he can reach Ronaldo's level if everything goes well...might be a big shot but I see why he means that and I'd agree with it at some context. He's the most talented winger in Serie A, with potential to become an amazing player who is totally worth all the money. Giovinco was ruined by us and that's true, now Parma and Udinese want him while Alexis is being chased by top clubs. His value will increase yet again probably, at this WC. He was always brilliant for Chile and he's improving more and more. His second part of the season was terrific. It's not about wanking at all those dribblings, C.Ronaldo did the same and now everybody keep their mouth shut when it comes down to that.

Saying "if we were letting Seba play more he'd be ten times better" or "if Giovinco was playing for Udinese he'd shining as well" is not valid argument IMO.

Not that impressed either. Poor mans Giovinco. Same dribble, but without the passing and vision. Sanchez is the type of player that turns and turns around himself on the flank. Looks nice, but rarely makes something happen.
At least from what I've seen of him, I must completely agree with the above.

I've liked Sanchez alot when I've seen him, but the thing is we still don't know how good Gio is. He's had some great games and some poor games but he's never been given an extended run of games so there's no way to know how good he really is. At this point I'd probably do the swap though and hope it's not a big mistake..

Sanchez > Giovinco

How this forum still amaze me after 6 years here. If Giovinco was good enough or better then Sanchez, then he would be playing for us as a starter.. He had the chance with to coaches, but non of them did play him as a starter.

There is no doubt about his talent. But at the moment, Sanchez is by far a better player!

EDIT: 3 coaches..........

Blog: Crazy for Krasic

Rob Paton on why Juventus and Inter are so keen on signing Milos Krasic – the new Pavel Nedved

It is a very easy comparison to make and one that will likely follow Milos Krasic for at least the next few years of his career, particularly if he arrives in Italy this summer as expected.

Wing-based attacking play at pace from a two-footed exciting and creative individual, combined with a rasping strike and vision and consistent delivery to boot – Krasic’s long blond locks complete the look and Juventus, currently in negotiations to sign him, have found their replacement for Pavel Nedved in almost every way possible.

Juve’s well-documented and unmitigated collapse last season was borne of complete failure across the board. In the case of going forward, the Bianconeri’s first season without Nedved in their ranks was turgid.

Various formations were tested to get the best out of Diego, ultimately proving unsuccessful and detrimental to the side’s attacking play. The link between midfield and attack was lost when Nedved retired and never reconnected with the Brazilian playmaker.

The interest in Krasic from Juve, and now reportedly Inter, is based on his rise to prominence at Russian side CSKA. The 25-year-old Serbian has won a host of honours in his spell with the Moscow club and is now looking to move on, with his heart set on Italy, and Juve leading the interested pack.

Predominantly right-footed, Krasic’s competency with his left foot, coupled with his penchant for step-overs, tricks and weaving runs makes him a real handful for full-backs, and an ideal target for Luigi Del Neri’s rebuilding side.

He has added goals to his game in recent seasons and his versatility and potency from wide positions offers Juve potentially a vitality going forward not seen since Nedved hung up his boots in 2009.

Whilst it remains an unhealthy, unrealistic transfer policy to sign players based on who they remind you of, in Krasic’s case, the similarity in appearance should be overlooked for the one in ability when compared with a younger Nedved who first arrived in Italy.

Krasic, an expressive talent, will have some way to go to emulating Nedved’s success in his 13 years in the peninsula and the Serbian still has areas of his game to work on to become more of an all-rounder for whichever team he joins.

And whilst the likeness in appearance is striking, the potential at Krasic’s feet is where the resemblance to Nedved really lies, and it will be with his feet that he can begin to make a name for himself in Italy.

Its actually two coaches. As Zach said, Giovinco was never available or 100% fit when he was there. Ranieri preferred Nedved and Ciro preferred that failing 4-3-1-2 with the 25 million man Diego.

But I think we should let go of Seba. Obviously old man Del Neri will play the marvelous Pepe instead of him and in a year after a full season for Seba we will regret the day we let him go. Hopefully, at that time we haven't fucked up the relationship with him that badly and that we still can get him back.

Well said, Suns.

It's better to let him go if there isn't a chance of him playing in starting 11. We destroyed him enough already...

Fuck Del Neri's 4-4-2, I'd like to see Juve play 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3. With Krasic and Gio on wings, Dzeko or IQ in attack and Diego, Marchisio and Melo we would be unstoppable.
