Juve await Krasic verdict
Monday 14 June, 2010
Juventus hope to conclude a deal with CSKA Moscow for Milos Krasic by the end of the week if not tomorrow, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Juventus have been in negotiations with CSKA for over week and hit a stumbling block when the Russian outfit asked for €18m.
La Gazzetta understands that Juventus will today hear whether their latest offer has been successful amid competition from Inter.
Juventus's general manager Beppe Marotta is expected to talk to Krasic's representatives and also the FIFA agent Marko Naletilic who they hired to liaise with CSKA.
The Turin giants are keen to do a deal to budget so that Marotta's transfer strategy Marotta isn't drastically changed.
Krasic is widely regarded as one of the best wingers in Europe and proved inspirational when CSKA won the UEFA Cup in 2005.
They signed him for just €2.5m in January 2004
