i would prefer Dzeko over Krasic because you can't find a player like Dzeko this days. but there are a lot of wingers as good or even better than Krasic. and we have the money to get a winger and LB. and we should sell players too!! i say get Dzeko and make a move for a decent winger maybe in loan and get LB. then the next year we maybe take Krasic if he still performs or we could look else where.

Who are those better wingers Hazem? Please don't mention Elia.

Do you also realize that Dzeko might cost more than twice as much as Krasic, and come at the expense of/result in us sacrificing Diego?

Moreover, Pepe, Lanzafame, and Martinez as our wingers doesn't sound an appealing prospect by any stretch of the imagination.

didn't say Elia. not a fan btw! but u have Hazard he is younger and the fucker is great i watched him a lot and he is so fuckin' mature. there is some good examples but can't remember now.

and i don't think we will get Dzeko in exchange of Diego and if so we are going to play 4-4-2 so we don't need Diego cause he isn't a SS.

Why are we dicking around and not purchasing Krasic right away?
Dzeko is a great talent and would be a fantastic buy, but we have Amauri:andyandbarcelona: and Trezeguet:snoop: and Edin coming this season wouldn't solve all our problems. Not getting a good winger like Krasic would be more detrimental than not getting Dzeko.

Joten has a point, one of our main problems is that we can't get the ball up the field and we can't keep possession for a long enough time to create anything meaningful. That's why we're resorting to long balls. Dzeko's going to have a tough time without proper service behind him.

Exactly. The only signifcant 'service' that Edin would get is if Diego were to be playing, but to sign him we'd have to sacrifice Diego. Makes no sense. Btw, I miss you.

So getting Dzeko means that we will not get a new winger? Is that what everyone is saying?

Even right after our club says they are going for a LB and winger?

waaaah.

Was said just yesterday. Marotta's word > internet message board.
I know, that's why I was asking because there seems to be a sense of insecurity that should Diego be used to get Dzeko our market ends there. What I am saying is who is to say that we won't press on for new wingers with more creativity and a LB that can attack well?

See what I am saying, Sal?

I feel like if Diego does leave then people seem to think we won't go after anyone at all, including creative wingers that would suit a 442 more anyways.

I know what the quotes were and what was said, but others seem to be forgetting easily.

If Marotta confirmed we're after a RW and a LB, then we are. Nobody on here can say otherwise. You're right.

Exactly my point.

I DONT WANT DIEGO TO LEAVE....but if he does, it seems our board will look to ease the creative burden by onboarding some new wingers and a LB...

I know it won't completely ease the shock of losing him (if he goes) but that should help.

Juve risk losing Krasic
Thursday 22 July, 2010
Juventus risk missing out on CSKA Moscow winger Milos Krasic as Atletico Madrid are also said to be interested in signing him.

Last month, Juventus held talks with CSKA about the Serbia international but couldn’t agree a fee despite reaching personal terms with the player.

Krasic has made no secret of his desire to join Juventus, but his patience is wearing thin.

CSKA have apparently lowered their asking price for the 25-year-old, but Juventus spent the money allocated for Krasic on Catania’s Jorge Martinez.

Atletico have long been admirers of Krasic, but gave up the ghost when it looked as though he was a step from joining Juventus.

However, the Europa League winners now hope to take advantage of Juventus’ indecision and snatch Krasic from under the noses.

---

I was under the impression that Martinez was unrelated to a possible Krasic transfer?
