Ferreira is solid defender, who understand how to defend as a team and can put in some great crosses. Nonetheless, there is nothing in his game to really drool him about and like his other Portuguese compatriots he is way overrated IMO and certainly not worth half the money Chelsea lavishly gifted to Porto.
I cant comment too much on Miguel because I havent seen much of him. However, as far as I am concerned I liked Miguel in terms of athleticism(Though he may be tad bit lancky and need to muscle up a bit he is to succeed) - He is fast, instinctive, and has burst of acceleration. As a result, I thought it may be him a very good one on one defender during the Euro a la Roberto Carlos. Furthermore, he showed tremendous courage, and ability to use his blistering pacee to assist attack, and given our lack of width - he would come in very handy. However, there is a question whether he has tactical nous and play good team defence which requires positioning more than anything else, and given his love for going forward that could be a problem IMO. Contra, a personal favorite of mine, had similar problem and could not make a living out of Serie A for that reason. And anything more than 7m is bid too much for unproved player. Lets see what Moggi can do because I have a good feeling about him.

the thing is that juve desperatly needs a REAL right back. and miguel COULD fit perfectly.

i d rather have him than oddo since he is younger.

Oddo today said he wants to stay with Lazio and that he never demanded a trade. He said if Lotito wants to sell him for $$$ reasons he will go.
So no Miguel, no Oddo. Who the hell are we gonna buy for RB? I think Bonera is the only possibility now. Better secure Daniele before we lose him like all the others.

If we want a stay-at-home RB we could as well stick with Zebina. Bonera is available, but I don't think he's good enough.

Capello does want a RB that's the whole thing.
And mayve to let Zebina play his natural left back as at Roma.
And since we'll get Jank(i hope) but no Cesar,so he wanna stick somenthing like that.

----RB(Oddo)------Thuram--------CB---------Zebina-----

--Zambro---------Emo-------Zanetti---------Jank-------------

But it's unlikly,coz without Neddy.

So it's either Neddy instead of Zanetti,or Jank to the LB spot and neddy taking the LM.

-------RB--------Thuram--------CB-----------Jank------

----Zambro---------Emo----Zanetti---------Neddy(or Neddy at AM)----

Those the options.
That's what Capello thinking...that what Italian specialists at least told.

I prefer Bonera over Oddo

Bonera is still young, can still improve, and we can use his service longer than Oddo I presume?

If I had to chose, I'd take Bonera over Oddo too, but let's face it, he isn't any good either...

yeah, but he won't be good this season, it takes some time... Well, I have no expectations for this season anyway, so let's buy Bonera then... :undecide: 05/06 will be THE season, I'm sure of it...
