HUMUS RECIPE:

1 can garbanzo beans
2 tablespoons tahini
1.5 tablspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
1 clove garlic
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
food process to a pulp ....

I wonder if that's actually sold here - can't imagine it fits the health requirements :D

try it...it's really good....
look up an arabic resturaunt in your city and have "earth's crust" and "falafel" as an apitizer.

SHAWRMA RECIPE:
1 kilo of beef, small slice
1/2 cup of vinegar
7 spice
black spice
white spice
salt
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 onions chopped
Mixed and leave for 2 hours. Put it in the oven for 30 minutes. Serve with taratoor.
Chopped tomato
Parsley and onion, served with pita bread.

Erik i remember eating shawrma and humus in Holland in Amsterdam somewhere beside the dam square.
We have Arab restaurants everywhere! A lot of Turkish immigrants in this country. Only, we write it "Shoarma" instead of "Shawrma."
