It's amazing how people still defend sissoko...he is so uncoordinated and awkward on the ball.
We are way better off with Pazienza instead of Sissoko. It's really laughable how people are defending him. He was utter mediocre with us last season.

I don't see anyone actually defending Sissoko. There is no doubt that the guy was terrible for us recently. The thing is that most of the fans don't consider Pazienza to be more reliable than Sissoko.

How about giving him a chance? We made good money for Sissoko, got rid of his wages and got Pazzi for free. So far Pazzi has been doing what he is supposed to as back-up.

Wouldn't it be better to have a better player than Pazienza as a backup? For instance, Aquilani or Melo? I'm not defending Sissoko as he had a terrible season for us but he has shown in his Juve career and at other teams that he is way better than Pazienza.

What makes you think Aquilani or Melo would be satisfied with bench-role?
Aquilani looking to make the Azzurri team needs full playing time, Melo wanted increase in salary. Why would we give him almost €4 mill to set on the bench? Have you seen Melo coming off the bench? He sucks balls when he comes in as a sub.

Although I don't want Sissoko here, I'm against signing players for the bench. No need to sign players for the bench, just use the players you just signed and send your current starters to the bench if they're not performing good enough to be starters. Signing players for your bench is how you end up stuck with guys like Pepe and Toni.
