joking aside, these are not bad players at all you've gotten already, and all for free ... they get the tough love around 'cause fans are tired of being patient and want drastic changes and are hoping to be getting Aguero's and Pastore's and whatnot, so Pazienza and Ziegler feel like a slap in the face ... but these are bit player - decent players who will allow the team to strengthen in other areas - no team can afford a complete reconstruction with 15-20 mil and more players for all positions that need strengthening.

As for Pirlo, he just had his worst season for Milan due to nigling injuries - none of those overly serious but just a series of smaller injuries. When he was available to play, however, he was still the muppeteer/metronomo for Milan ... he will do well for Juve, even great if he manages to stay healthy, as this new challenge would do well for his motivation, something he seemed to lack at Milan the past 2-3 years.

that's a very broad question to answer really

the coach is the most important transfer a team has to make - you get this right, Juve can get away with maybe 50-70 mil, on top of what you'd get from sales of certain players you already have, and have a great team that can challenge for scudetto as early as next year. Basically, the right coach will bring in the right players for his tactics and they won't have to be 30-40 mil superstar, necessarily.

If you end up with another Del Neri, however, you can spend 150 mil and more and still won't have the team you want.

Of course this is nothing in comparison to milan probably keeping bonera on for another season to the detriment of legro and sokrates.

as for Storari, he was let go because he asked for it - he wanted to be 1st keeper somewhere and not Abbiati's back-up, so he followed del Neri to Juve considering Buffon's injury troubles ... Milan didn't offload him because he lacked talent, they just weren't ready to bench Abbiati for Storari, that's all.
