Should have known the moment he spoke about Handanovic as his idol and that he prefers him to Buffon… after all this is an italian GK we are talking about, instant red flag in terms of mentality, basically only a delusional interista could state such abominations, and his performances reflect that he largely has the same jelly consistency of his rolemodel.

Okay now I can partly understand why he rushed out, it was 2vs1 in penalty, because Cambiaso wouldn't be on time to cover there. I would totally blame that goal on Gatti who overreacted and rushed to Cambiasos guy for some unknown reason.

I agree on why he had to rush out there, but regarding putting all the blame on Gatti by that logic wouldn’t it mean that Cambiaso would have most likely also not caught up with the Milan player that Gatti chased to block and it would have resulted in different movement such as running with the ball in the box instead of passing that early from them too? Basically still resulting in a big opportunity for them even if not an own goal… Hindsight is a powerful thing, somebody needed to intervene there. The blame is on both DiGregorio and Gatti, plus Cambiaso who was caught out, maybe even a bit on Kalulu who was nowhere to be seen.

Imo Gatti was extremely unlucky, can't be blamed too much. Also i see di gregorio's logic but he left the goalposts totally exposed. Imo Cambiasso and mostly Di gregorio at fault. Cambiasso with positioning and di gregorio pulling a stant we pull at 5a-sides

I blame Gatti for crossing over to defend Musah out wide and not the freaking centre forward who was left unmarked because of it. We paid for it either way.

Gatti was not unlucky. Should have held his position and let Cambisso continue to chase Musah down the wing.

You guys are focusing on the wrong things.

Did he score or assist with his feet? We were told he is good with feet and that it is vital for the system of play that’s why justification of why he was signed . Yet no goals or assists.

Maby it s off topic a bit but Tek in polish media outlet 'FootTruck' before he joined Barca said that Di Gregorio transfer will not defend itself long term and he would trust more Perin then this dude. I though that time he was biased since Perin and him were bros on 'good terms'.
