#Monza - Galliani and the negotiation with #Juventus for #DiGregorio : "Juve have signed the best goalkeeper in Serie A. It all started in January-February, I was in the Senate and he called me #Giuntoli and told me: 'The goalkeeper is mine, then we'll talk about the money'"

No excuse to no be in the squad ahead of Szczęsny. 33 games 14 clean sheets and he saved Vla's penalty.

He's listed as wearing #29 right now. I wonder if he'll switch to #16 if McKennie is sold.

Either way, I know it's more common nowadays and I dont really care that much, but I just kind of hate when your starting keeper doesnt wear #1.

@Lion Bro, the famous Romeo Agresti said that taking a 4th goalie before you resolve Tek was the biggest mistake during this mercato so far. I guess it ends the discussion here?

not according to xpred, juvejay, daniel, campione, and others.

something something market opportunity. something something attack and midfield can go to hell.

Did you just call Lion a copycat? He read what Agresti said and he presented that as his own opinion? Or is Agresti copying from our big cat?

Edit: It's the latter. Wow, our legend is an opinion maker. Impressive.

Lion doesn't read. He just looks at pictures to see if they're handsome

On some level, I agree with Lion.

You cannot buy a position that is already a strength, even if you plan to move on from Woj at the end of this season or want to sell him, without selling Woj first. You can line-up the replacement but completing the purchase of another keeper does seem like a mistake. Maybe management was under the impression Woj was nearly sold or gone and that changed but that's still a mistake on their part.

It's a loan with obligation to buy but still. These are the little purchases and mistakes that add up and subtract from an overall mercato.

4.5m is affecting our ability to move in the mercato? I just don't see it. And once Tek is gone it'll be a completely moot point.
it's not moot because you know 99 percent certain this loan will turn into purchase based on previous history of loans+ obligations.

It's obviously going to be a full transfer, but how is 4.5m this summer affecting our mercato?
so yes 4.5m doesn't seem like a big amount, but you are ignoring the other 16m + wages

we knew for a year now what the weaknesses of the team were and that budget would be an issue. priority should be going towards immediate needs. not what maybe can be or possibly is a problem next year.
