Did you ever see the documentaries on the 1992 USA Olympic bball "Dream Team" or "The Last Dance" on the 90s Chicago Bulls dynasty?

Michael Jordan & Scottie Pippen made it their personal mission to destroy future Bulls teammate and Croatian superstar Toni Kukoc. It had nothing to do with Kukoc, but everything to do with the Bulls general manager Jerry Krause.

That's what this is. it's not rooting against Di Gregorio, but what he represents. It's the idiotic buffoon who brought him in and absolutely mangled how he managed the club this summer.

lol you guys are funny

Credit to Giuntoli. Rather than just signing these guys 6 weeks ago, he managed to negotiate and still buy them at the same price other clubs originally asked for.

If he listened to people like me and @Lion , they would have been with the club for over a month now and already completely acclimated into the team ---- rather than adding 3-4 new important players 2 games into the season and screwing up a winning formula and chemistry

it's not hard to spend money, extend McKennie after failing to sell him, give Chiesa away for next to nothing after having his career ruined at Juventus, and still have dead weight in the squad.

Screwing up what exactly?

Said early on in summer early signings are preferred, but even if they are new signings allways take time to adjust fitness wise and what not, so it really doesn't matter wether they play first or 2nd game because they tend to he benched for those games. Like Luiz been so far, or Locatelli was before when he joined and countless others.

The club were defenitely not working the assumptions our season is in jeopardy if new signings aren't made before first and 2nd game. It's a marathon not a race, so they were very unlikely to be rushed by that at all. Especially when those you negotiating with are unlikely to be forth coming until they get the precise deal they want.

The urgency of the 1st and 2nd games are usually just from the fans side. For these seasoned pros the real season for new signings and team build starts after first international break. Because that's usually when they have 1-2 weeks of interrupted preparation together. While pre season is mainly for gruelling fitness readiness.

It feels like complaining for the sake of complaining to cry about why the transfer market wasn't build around 1st or 2nd game in mind. Early games we already dominated the heck out mind you.

Thanks for that detailed analysis, professor.

I will continue to provide constructive criticism ---- or continue to post in hyperbole, sarcasm, or joke form and see if some goobers will continue to take it literally

Aka I will continue talk out of my ass like the original post I quoted of you here actively rooting against Di Gregorio because you just decided you dislike Giuntoli to the extremes and have no patience to wait til market closes. Then take no responsibility for that bad take being disaproven within same week and pretend it was constructive criticism all along?

While amusingly indirectly comparing yourself to Michael Jordan or Scottie Pippen in that original post.

Why are we hating on this guy now? He was the best keeper in Italy, one of the top keepers in Europe, and has the ball playing skills that Motta looks for. In fact he was the top rated keeper in Europe last year

Are we hating on him because he hadn't had to do anything yet as far as saves? Or is it because he hasn't been asked to push further up in defense, as is common in Motta's system?

You'd think we bought a scrub here

Bad take? BAD TAKE?!?!!??

If anything, I've been proven right. I told Giuntoli needed to sign Koopmeiners and either 1 wing and work something out with Chiesa, or sign 2 new wingers --- which is exactly what he did. So clearly, we were on the same page on what needed to be done.

The only difference is, I wouldnt have wasted 6 weeks to get these deals done. And I would have sold some of these unwanted players earlier, rather than still being stuck with them going into the final days of the window. But we all cant be perfect.

Rather than trying to ridicule me, you probably owe me an apology more than anything and should say I was right in my assessment all along.

Wait lol, am I getting it right, are you genuinely comparing your competence to the GM of a big professional football club?

No. And please dont compare us.

Like I said, I would have signed these guys 6 weeks earlier, sold Chiesa earlier for much more money, and would have sold players like McKennie, De Sciglio, Arthur, and Kostic a long time ago.

Forum retards and n00bs falling for @Lion’s tired, repetitive and forced trolling against this guy and a few other signings we made.

Also highly wanted by Liverpool too, and only reason he didn’t sign was because he was waiting for us. As evidenced by Liverpool later signing that Georgian keeper (and keeping him there at Valencia on loan)

Signed everyone 6 weeks ago. Sold everyone long time ago. Noted.

Oh OK thanks champ. I had no idea it was all that easy. I will take Giuntoli off my Xmas list immediately.
