Never bought into him. He’s just not Juve level. Going from Gigi to Tek to this is a massive downgrade, and I’m worried we’ll be stuck with keepers like this until we finally sign a top one. He has to save Dortmund’s 3rd, no excuses. He doesn’t inspire confidence, and that’s the real problem.

I saw 4 goals and 1 that di Gregorio could have/should have saved. The third one. Nothing he could have done about the first two, and the fourth was a penalty. We’ve allowed 7 goals in two games and a majority of them are golazos/outside the box.
The 2nd one could have been saved by Buffon and Tek.
The 3rd one was a typical Tek special (near post)

look again at those highlights, this guy should've saved the 1st, the 2nd, and the 3rd goals

Dortmund GK saved Yildiz's shot that hit the post, that shot was faster than Dortmund 3 goals, this Handanovich bitch didn't try enough, same with against inter 3 days ago ffs (1 or both Hakan's goals would've been saved by Buffon or maybe even Peruzzi -who was shorter than this guy-).

if this is up to me, he has to ride the bench now.

I actually think Di Gregorio has been pretty good in general. I have no complaints about him overall since he signed, especially compared to the other expensive signings from that summer.

That being said, he's given up 7 goals in the last 2 matches. You're allowed to make a great save, or in the case of the 3rd goal, what should be a pretty routine save for a keeper at this level.

The 2nd goal vs Dortmund he didn't even extend his arm and almost felt like he thought it was going wide. And I have no clue how the 3rd goal got by him.

The bottom line is, we need better performances from him than we've gotten in the past 2 games.

I think he's a solid keeper and will bounce back.

Except of Kahn and Cañizares, other blondes should not be allowed to play in the goalkeeping position. I think there is a meaningful relationship between blondes and poor goalkeeping that scientists need to work on and explore. Reminds me of karius and that horrible mistake in the CL final that cost Liverpool the title.
