Nope. I was told specifically that he was signed because he is good with feet and needed for motta system. This is what Daniel, xperd, osman and juvejay told us. I don’t care how good he is in saving or corners or whatever non important standard used.

I’m still waiting to see these so called mythical skills that we were told is vital for mottas’ system
do seriously Think he is bad with his feet?

Im pretty sure we could sell for 30+. So its a Pretoria damn good deal we made. cant understand the hate towards him.

if he was the least of our problems like you say, then isn't it better to save all that money for the more important problems in the team? especially cuz the team is "broke"

this is what we the normal people have been telling you the cult of guintoli since day 1
You dont Think a goalkeeper was needed? Wtf.

Im not a fan on how guintoli does his “magic” but this deal was not a miss.

He’s had some iffy moments this season, but he’s also had to deal with a defence that has been chopped and changed all season due to injuries and Motta’s choices. Never easy to establish a rapport and understanding that way.

But he’s also saved our ass plenty of times with phenomenal saves. I think he’s one of the best pure shot stoppers around right now.

Needs to work on the crosses and set pieces, but I have no doubt he’ll improve further. Never easy to go from the provinces into being the starting GK for a club with a known history of having the greatest goalkeepers ever.

I wouldnt dare to say he is downgrade on Szczesny at all, looks even better to me in some situations and getting this level of GK for a price below 20m is a great deal. I think we did good in buying him he is great shot stopper and is pretty good with his feet.

He gets a bit nervous when players are trying him to close him down. Proceeds to make a shit pass or have a bad first touch. It's probably got to do with lack of confidence which I hope and will improve as he plays more games with us.

Was rather shaky and unconvincing earlier in the season, which tbh can be said about many of our players, but as of late he has really impressed me, he is putting in mature performances in this current run of positive results, he is a really good shot stopper and isn’t clueless with his feet either, think he can improve even further with a more solid defense in front of him.

As usual I am seeing some major coping and denial now.
Ohhh he didn’t cost much. Ohh goalie was needed.

No goalie was not needed. Perin has shown he just as good a shot stopper.

I was told this guy was signed because he is good with feet. Yet I haven’t seen a single match where his feet skills were important in playmaking
