We're probably doing well for this moment, but the future is not bright at all. Even Juve's midfield is better than United's, Melo and Marchisio would be first choice if they were playing for United. United has the worst midfield in the top 8 in England and instead of buying central midfielders we are renewing the contracts of Carrick and Gibson, while looking to sign the likes of Young, which adds nothing to our team as we have good wingers in Nani and Valencia but average CMs.

Anyway I think Young could do better than Bastos, he's more creative and more versatile in attacking positions. And you wouldn't have to worry about him getting played as a left back.

Agreed. Plus I think he can play in a 4-4-2 unlike some of the mentioned targets. How much would it cost to sign Miralem?
