He is not an integral player so why part with 10 million to sign him?
Pepe is integral for three reasons. We already spent 3.5M in loan fees on him, he's liked by a lot of people, and he's an Azzurri star. Whoopdeedoo.

All sorts of other players could do just as well as he could, so no, he isn't integral at all and not worth an overall 10M including loan fees.

We'd be a poorer club for it, but I don't expect you'll understand.
Well, you said Pepe is your "boy", so perhaps you wouldn't understand either. You even compared him to Salihamidzic of his Bayern days, which is an absolute joke at best.

Actually no, that's an embarrassing comparison, really.

Well he hasn't really proven much yet, he hasn't played in the CL yet for example. When you buy a player like from a team like Lille, who could use the money, they'd probably be willing to sell him for 15-18M.
I thought all French teams were relatively well run (given the financial rules of the league) so they could hold off for larger sums. 15-18m sounds like a dream. :D

Nasri went to Arsenal for 12.5mln pounds, Ben Arfa moved for 11mln euros.

I don't think Hazard will cost more than 18mln.

Still they don't tend to hold out for big sums(barring Lyon). Refer to Jokers post as well.

And ya, i think its a fair sum to pay for a talent such as Hazard.

I would like him here but it might be a luxery unless we plan on Chiellini staying out wide the we only need a rb. I am happy with DC or what we run now with another rb in there. Then we choose between Matri or quag and then could buy him possibly. Having all these loans makes it hard to move forward next year. alot to work out with who we keep and who we return to the home club before buying

Signing him would be such a dream. Can you imagine the sexyness of our wingers, Krasic and Bastos. With Quag and Matri as our frontline. Would be a very lively, mobile and high-paced. Perfect to play counter-attacking football with.
