Gourcuff has been very disappointing for Lyon. Up till now he has been a failure to be honest. Still Lyon payed a lot of money for him, which is why he starts every week despite his poor form. I think they'll give him another chance, unless some team comes in and pays a lot of money for him. Mentally Gourcuff is very weak btw, i think that is the reason that despite his unquestionable talent, he will never make it big.

As for Hazard, he's very interested in moving to Arsenal as he's stated on more than one occasion. I don't think its impossible for Juventus to have the financial clout to buy him. I think he'll move for around 15-20M Euros. That's the stumbling block for us though, i'm not sure Wenger will be willing to pay a lot of money for a player that plays in a position that we don't really need.

Fred, Bastos seem's to alternate between LW and RW at Lyon. What position did he play mostly at Lille?

At Lille he used to always be played on the left. Not so much at Lyon where he has played on the right more than he has played on the left.

Lyon probably want to sell Bastos btw, he's been running his mouth off too much, and talks too much in the press/media, talks about internal affairs in the club and what not. To be honest he hasn't been the success everyone was waiting for at Lyon, not very consistent, has bursts of brilliance, but has not really reached expectations consistently. I don't think it would be prudent to spend more than 15M on him, and even 15M is a big risk to be honest.

Still on his day, he's a deadly winger, so he might turn out to be a worthwhile gamble.

I have not seen Gourcuff much for Lyon.. he looked pretty awesome before. Maybe cuz he is not doing well Juve could sign him but if he can't handle pressure it would not make much sense. I am just hoping we can get a top left sided player. Hazard is interesting and 15-20 million would be reasonable given the money we have thrown around on mid level players. Like if we dont take the option on Pepe (7.5m) and sell Amauri (10m) we could pay for him. Arsenal are pretty good in the winger position with Nasri, Arshavin, Walcott and Rosicky. Are hoping Hazard joins your team or do you want them to put money elsewhere?
