We do need a LW just as much Sergio if we're honest.

Our three main purchases in the Summer should be a RB,LB and a LW, that would complete our team.

I don't know. He's going to be 28 next season. He'll already be at his peak. I would just rather they go for someone younger.

I know that he's a good player, but I really would like to see an infusion of youth on this team. They are really going to need it.

I would prefer Hazard or Gourcuff .. but if we got Bastos I would still be thrilled. We need a good left winger and he would be a good signing. He has a great shot and alot of power going up and down the left.

at 28 he is a bit older then I would want but beggars can't be choosers.. we would be getting a very good player who would help take some pressure off Krasic and creat good chances for our strikers. Lyon would probably demand alot for him though.

Spot on. Even though we've been starved of success, it doesn't mean we should be short sighted about the whole thing.

I think it is a waste to see him as a left back.. especially when you consider how we are so dependant on the right wing in our attacks it makes us one dimensional. If anything though our first choice LB would be De Ceglie so if we had DC fit and bought Bastos I assume Bastos would be in the midfield and DC would be the fullback.. which could work very nicely.. Bastos would give more protection to DC then Krasic does to the RB on his flank. They could be good together.

Shift to a 4-3-3 and we'll be decent . Coentrao on the right and Ceglie on the left. Both are more then decent going forward. IF he came I would play him as LB because he can attack real well. Marchisio can do some more covering.

De Ceglie is certainly not good enough to be awarded the starting LB spot.
