No. I'd certainly say Elia is not yet proven. Hence why he rots the bench for Hamburg and Holland. Whilst Bastos was a star in Lille and Lyon. He also cemented a place in arguably one of the best national teams.

As for Bastos, I think he'd do very good in here. Then again, I'd probably avoid paying anything more than 15mln for him.

Lyon paid 18 mill for him 2 years ago, I doubt we will get him for 15 mill.
Something between 25 and 30 is more likely but I don't think Marotta will spend that money on Bastos.

At 28, anything over 12m is strecthing it. Lyon won't sell him for less than 20m. I'd rather we go after Elia.

I don't care about how old player is. The only one thing that i want from player is a good play. I he does well, then forget about age. Without a doubt player who are over 35 old is exception, cause he's going to end a carrer and don't have potential.

As for his age, it shouldn't be parameter.

It's not like he's over 30, he's only 27 and he can probably play at least 3-4 seasons at a highest level. By that time he'd repay every penny.

It's just that he's simply not worth over 20mln IMO.
