Best friend of Miccoli said that he wants to go to Napoli.

Miccoli a Napoli?

Miccoli Wants Napoli, Reveals Best Friend

Gianluca Grava, defender of Napoli, spoke about his friend's desire to join the Partenopei, even though his wage demands might be too high for the newly promoted side.

Napoli are hoping to sign Fabrizio Miccoli from Juventus and the path leading to the small forward might be paved thanks to the player's desire to play for the Partenopei.

This was revealed by his friend, Grava, who plays for Napoli, during a television program "Italiamiasportlive".

"We made the military together and at first we used to argue a lot. Then we became friends and I was even his witness during his marriage. Naturally we played together during our days with Terni.

"I often spoke with him. The only problem is the wage, considering that it's quite high.

"Miccoli has always said nice things about Napoli; he told me that he would be happy to wear the Azzurri's shirt, however I never spoke about it with Marino."

well as speculation grows and days go by ,
still nothing official has been unleashed
some of you will say well its still early but just remember we have 2 acquire quite a few players, so maybe we sould not be taking our time.
the only good that has came out of this so far , of the nothingness is that trez has not left as of yet. 1 hopes nothing will happen and he wont go anywhere.
Az 4 other we all hoope lots of stuff happen and that , we buy Milito Barzagli Almiron Etc...

Miccoli confirms Italian return

Fabrizio Miccoli has noted that he is ready to leave Benfica for an Italian return – even if he’s unsure of whether he will be playing for Juventus or Napoli.

The 27-year-old has spent the last two years on loan in Portugal from Juve, but will be back in Serie A action next term.

“They treated me like a king in Lisbon, but now I am ready to return to Italy,” Miccoli said to Radio Kiss Kiss.

“I spent two wonderful years at Benfica and we almost won the title, giving me the opportunity of playing for one of the best clubs in the world.

“But I still have three years left on my contract with Juventus and I am at Claudio Ranieri’s disposal.

“However, if I am told that I am not included in their plans then I am ready to look for an alternative solution.”

Ranieri has recently claimed that he’d like to have the 'Romario del Salento’ at his disposal next season, but Napoli have been strongly linked with the Old Lady’s 2003 signing.

“Playing at Napoli next to Christian Bucchi and Emanuele Calaiò would be great, but we will wait and see what happens,” he added.

“I would love to become a new idol for the Partenopei supporters. I have always been a fan of Diego Maradona and I envy those who saw him in action when he was at his best.”

The Italian international moved to Portugal in 2005 after Fiorentina opted not to keep him despite the fact that he scored 12 goals in Serie A during his one-season loan there.

miccolli should be used as a bargaining chip to land barzagli for cheap
if benfica owned him im pretty sure theyd be askin for more than 6million
at least 8 is what we should seek for
theres absolutely no point in keepin him with the forwards at our disposal such as palla,dp,iaquinta n trez hopefully if he stays
we should try to get sthing like 10m from sellin miccolli n zala....thats one extra player for our squad
