Don't get me wrong, they were all great in their own right. Yet, after mgs it was like a he just came up with whatever as he went on. Which led to basically taking everything too far. It was convoluted to begin with, but mgs1 had some sense of believability and subtlety in it. It was lost in the the sequels and besides their stories were never as 'complete' as the first one.

Kojima even admitted to continuing it all, because of the public need.

Mine went to a black screen and said "Hideo 2" in the top right hand corner, and the second time, Snake said "restart" and the screen went through the restart sequence and put me right back where I was.

yea, he wants to put his delpie in snake's maldini, anyways you have to use the syringe, thats near the end, u've almost completed the game

I beat the game like 2 hours before I posted this, I just wandered what happened. I actually just started a new game on the new highest difficulty and shit, nigro.

hmmm, you could try no kills, thats tough, i beat the game on boss extreme to get the big boss rnak and emblem which was damn hard, but it gives u some nice shizzle, boss extreme is tough, and basically, i know its gay, but it rele helps to use the face camo mask, some of the bosses can be quite tricky as well, took me a fair few times to beat liquid on the end fist fight

fo sure, makes life alot easier, and all the guns u had carry on over to, i.e. gekkos get gunned down by mofo's with a rail gun

btw burke, did u find that end scene where ur goin down that corridor and then the microwave and then to top it off the fist fight was one of the most epic scenes in gaming period?

Dude, all i have to say is, I've been a MGS fan for years, I played most if not all of them (minus the first 2 or 3 that came out when I was 6). But I think the graphics and game design, and story, all written by Hideo Kojima are sick. Best plot to any video games ever. A very very very distant second is Half-Life.

But, I agree. Plus, Raiden is one of my favorite characters.

(Little tid bit of information for you: at the end of MGS4 when Drebin talks about how he was a child soldier in Liberia or whereever, and was given a gun at 6 years old, well that is Raiden's background as well. So Hideo makes it seem like they were both in the Small Boys Corps together. Sickness.)

Plus, if you have not already, I SERIOUSLY recommend getting online and downloading the MGS4 Database/Encyclopedia, it tells everything from all of the games. Plot lines, timelines, et cetera.

lol i hate to say it but when it comes to mgs i'm a right geek, i even met hideo kojima at the hmv uk pre-release launch, i told the guy to 'FREEZE' in the snake voice and he got a bit freaked out

I just hope that hollywood doesnt fuck up the film that's being planned, had enough of great games turned into shit films, i think the new mgs will be crap if it doesn't have snake in it though
