No you didnt get me, i was commenting on those who say argentines don't like messi, and while i dont claim to know anything about public opinion in argentina, i would bet the idea that one of the best players to play the game isnt liked in his own country is not even close to being true. Selective perception is those who say he isnt liked probably heard it from an unrepresentative sample of argentines, blocked out the opinions of those who like him, and generalized the former.
