Ronaldo is better at shooting from distance and finishing. Half the FIFA moves came from his signature dribbeling days. He's better at finding position, heading and volleying.



Messi is a better passer that can run fast and make quick turns. And he was carried by Xavi and Iniesta during his "peak".

It's perfectly possible to play a great game without being directly involved in the goals, not that I expect a Ronaldo fan to understand. Messi got del Horno sent off and was causing havoc against Chelsea, he also hit the crossbar. Mourinho's Chelsea was one of the best teams in the world at the time, and without Messi, Barcelona would not have beaten them.

The fact that Messi got injured in the second half of the season doesn't diminish his contribution.

so basically, his contribution that game (and the entire CL campaign) was that he got Del Horno sent off. same as Lichtsteiners last season then. but oh wait, Messi hit the crossbar and Licht didnt, if he didnt, they wouldnt have beaten Chelsea
