Nope, Messi was playing like he is now at the time of voting, I thought Ronaldo was the better player then and I still do now. Granted 99% of the world may disagree with me.

That is extremely understandable and Zidane may well be the better player, i don't know. I used to say there was a world of difference between Zidane and Messi, but lately i've changed my mind. Messi could be just as good imo.

Ronaldo has missed more games than Messi this season and it's his first in La Liga so how can one compare their seasons? if Ronaldo had played as much as Messi then I can cast judgement not know.

Many people don't like to admit they're wrong, i really do not think Ronaldo is capable of producing the football that Messi has in the past two seasons. the amount of goals he scores, the amount of solo goals he scores, the way he completely dominates big teams like he did to us today and like he did countless times against Real Madrid, scoring a brace last season and scoring a hattrick against them 3 seasons ago.

I really cannot see how one can still say with a straight face that Messi is not a better and more effective player than Ronaldo. IMO there is really only one explanation, in one word: Bias
