Ever year its the same story to have that many embarassing defeats in europe is shocking. Roma was the easiest Tie you could ever ask for to reach a final and in both games he was trash and they got hammered. He got 2 very easy draws this year with lyon and trash man united and the one good team he played he got destroyed again.

By the way, if anyone wants to talk about Ronaldo's 'low goal tally' with Juve, these things should be considered:

1. Settling into a new team, league and country. Messi has never had to deal with this since his debut season.
2. Injuries, suspensions and early exits from cup competitions: Ronaldo easily would've had 10-15 CL goals if he wasn't suspended and if Juve had made the final like Real usually do. Juve went out in the Coppa and the CL despite Ronaldo, not because of him.
3. Juve's tendency to stop attacking at 2-0. Real regularly crush teams 5-0, 6-1 etc in La Liga with Ronaldo often getting hattricks against Levante etc, at Juve he doesn't get that opportunity.

Like I said b4 the fact that the scope of discussion is limited to just goal scoring in order to accommodate Ronaldo into the discussion just shows the clear gap in quality between the two. One is a playmaker+goal scorer the other is just a goal scorer.

i read somewhere that he is only the 3rd or 4th player that scored more than 20 golas on his seria debut year.

2018 he scored Ever single match in the UCL bar liverpool and bayern he scored goals home and away vs psg and us to win games.There was no easy draws and teams ronaldo faced there.No one asks messi to scorte ever match but to not score a goal away from home since 2013 and losing games 3 or 4 nil in europe every year is terrible.

Ronaldo has more assists in the CL than Messi and their overall numbers aren't all that different although Messi certainly has the edge. (245 vs 281)
