Thing is if you (and I don't mean you specifically) spend 364 days criticizing a religion but out spend 1 day joyously partaking in a holiday of that religion they have every right to say 'wtf!'.

That's not the point. It's a Christian holiday...whether it's wrong or not is irrelevant. That's a separate argument which I don't disagree with you on at all.

I understand that Christmas is a holiday very much in Western culture because your forefathers were Christians...but as the years have passed faith in the religion has generally diminished to the point where your generations spends most of its time ridiculing the religion. So it's funny to see you guys partaking in a holiday that is meant to celebrate an integral part of Christianity. Yeah sure...who's gonna say no to family gatherings, gifts, and alcohol...but face it...it makes you a hypocrite.
It doesnt make me a hypocrite, For athiests its a non denominational gift giving day. Its a day that i spend with my family, have a meal and give them presents to let them know how important they are to me, it could happen at any point in the year and be completely unrelated to any religion and it would still hold the same signifigance to me, nothing that happens on the 25th dec has any correlation to the teaching of the bible or the 'traditional' christmas festival, im completely comforatable with my morals in relation to the NDGGD.

If you are going to accuse every non theist of being a hypocrite but sharing a day for family on the same day as an extremely multi theistic day of celebration then you should expect a responce to that accusation, you dont need to get sarcastic and snarky with the way you deal with the justification.
