It was only a year or two ago when we thought the future of our defence was bright. We had promising Romero and Demiral, now we will have none. We were meant to fix the midfield, but we can only do that by selling this brainless beast. Atalanta wouldn't have come for him if he wasn't all that. Everyone knows his potential, I see the risk factor of injury, but now we're gonna have to see a Rennes reject Rugani in the lineup again.
Literally the last Coppa game vs Inter when we thought we were set at CB for a decade at least :(

That's because someone linked selling him as making or breaking the Locatelli deal. In truth he's one of 7 guys who can play DC who is worth a bit of money and is a fringe player. Everyone else is either a starter or not worth much.

He's the only player we can make money out of but it looks like at the moment we won't be getting any money.

Atalanta are the real winners in this deal as it's risk free unless there's a gentlemen agreement that they will take up the option to sign him.

Hes a bit brainless, whats the big fuss? Its not like we sold young Nesta or Cannavaro ffs
Yeah, I don't get it. Every opportunity he's had to show himself besides his time at Sassuolo, he has been incompetent and mistake prone. But not like even Romero's mistakes where it was like "this guy is raw, he needs to develop" but like boneheaded reckless mistakes. The type of mentality you usually cannot fix.

He's a reckless Rugani. Remember, Rugani looked really promising at Empoli too and now we can't rid ourselves of the man. Just because Demiral looked very promising at Sassuolo doesn't mean he is destined to be very good.

CB is also a position of relative strength for us. So it makes sense to sell from here. Yes, we would prefer to sell one of our one hundred midfielders on exorbent wages but there is little interest for them. Otherwise, we'd be selling Ramsey and Bentancur and keeping Demiral.

Its not just about losing Demiral. The deal just isn't such a good one for Juve

Im not going crazy over selling demiral...I think he has potential to be a very good defender, my concern is having faith in older defenders bodies lasting a full season.

Happy to promote dragusin, give him more time but when facing bayern in the CL, you wouldn't want dragusin starting right?

Again we suffer from the past and we are left with shit like rugani who we cant sell. We just need to accept that until the shit can walk out for free we are hamstrung.

People here going crazy for Demiral's sale... can you imagine been a Barcelona fan in this moment o_O
Or even an Atslanta fan, we got Romero for 26mil, made him decent and sold him to them for 16mil, they sold him to EPL for 50ml and with half of that, if Demiral deliver, they can keep him, while we are bleeding cash and are left without profit or players, while they have both!!
