Juve: No Demiral for Milan
By Football Italia staff
Sky Sport Italia confirms Milan enquired about Merih Demiral, but Juventus have no intention of letting the defender leave. Rai Sport made the seemingly-spurious claim on Monday that Juve were considering sending Demiral to Milan on loan.
That has since been backed up by Sky’s Fabrizio Romano, who explains the Rossoneri were hoping to capitalise on Matthijs de Ligt’s move to Juventus.
However, Romano made it clear the Bianconeri had ‘no intention’ of shifting the Turk and that even if they did, they still wanted ‘control’ of his future.
Gazzetta dello Sport, meanwhile, writes Merih is ‘unsellable’ for the Old Lady as sporting director Fabio Paratici ‘has a lot of belief’ in him.
The 21-year-old recently joined Juve for €18m after a successful loan spell at Sassuolo.
While I agree, I think Bonucci will get the nod over Demiral to begin the year due to Bonucci's history at Juventus. Depends also on how Sarri wants his CB to play. I think one good thing about Sarri in this regard is if he doesn't want Bonucci to start he won't start him. Sarri has no qualms benching him.
To make money i guess, but we probably wont sell to Milan without buyback option, which in its own way softens the blow even though i hate to see him go.
Why the fuck are so keen on gifting Milan with young CBs we have just purchased? Tell them to fuck off, or give them Rugani if they are that desperate.
