Juve Liverpool will be really interesting imo. Moreso than a Man U or Real.

The most interesting of course, would be Juve Barca!!!

so all things are clear now:
1st spot teams are : Juventus - Milan - Inter - Chelsea - Arsenal - B Leverkusen - AC Monaco - Lyon

2nd spot teams are : B Munich - Barcelona - V Bremen - Porto - PSV Eindhoven - Real Madrid - Liverpool - Manchester United

looking at the 2nd spot teams there are many good teams , the most appropriate teams for Juve are (in my opinion) Porto , Bremen & Psv Eindhoven & offcourse avoid teams like Barca , Man utd , R Madrid & Liverpool in 2nd place though i'd like a clash between Juve & the reds cause we have good memories when we met them in 1985 which resulted in our 2nd champions league trophy !! any suggestions ??

Well now we are in and we are in the 1st seeded teams but the i can say that the 1st seeded team are not "as strong as the 2nd seeded teams"

We may face either meet barca, man U, madrid, porto, bremen, psv, and Liverpool.Am just gonna put a little briefing on all the teams.

Porto:
Well everyone knows that they are the champions, they "had" a very strong team last year with jose"****ing" Mourinho, however this year they are struggling very badly both in the league and in the CL. They had gigi Del Neri but they fired him before the season even began, which was very weird.
I dont alot of their players, but they have that brazlian wonder kid that is dubbed as the new "Rivaldo" i forgot his name. They also have Benni McCarthy who his goal got them through.
I think they are not as strong as last year, although they will still fight for every match and they hv some players that could score.

Psv:
I saw their match against Arsenal. They have a very very good team with a great coach.Gus Hiddink , this guy is a very good coach. They are also very well when working as a unit. Their main weakness is their forwards, as they are not very well not and not very effective. Their other two lines however is very good, both the midfield and the back line are very well organised. They have very good players that are well known,
PLAYERS like :Cocu, Van Bommel,Oijier, and Bouma. These players are very good. I think that tthis team can be very surprising , and they will be very hard to break down.

Werder Bremen:
They are the German champions, as a fan of Germany i know many of their players. Their coach is very well praised in Germany but i dont know him very well. His results in two years speak for themselve.Although i think this year they are much weaker than the way they were last year.
Players: they have good players in all three lines. Players like Miroslave Klose,Fabian Ernest,Christeas, Farnhorst,Baumann,Valdez,Klasnic.
They are a good team although i think they are weaker than PSV, but again they could be surprising.

Liverpool:
People think that they are the unluckiest team in the whole of europe, and they are. They were hit with injuries very much , that they didnt have any main strikers.I think they were lucky to progess and i think that they didnt deserve it.Rivaldo's team are the ones that should be through not them. They have a coach that did wonders with valencia last year, and he is doin well this year. They have very good team compusre and they well as a group.
PLayers:Luis Garcia, steven gerrard, hamman, xabi alonso, Milan Baros.
As you can see they have a good group of players, and add to them they have very good youngersters;
So they wont be easy to beat , they will give us a hard time if we meet them.

Real Madrid:
The "Dream team", the "Galacticos" , whatever they call them!!They are not as tough of a team as they were. The "twist" in real is that they are stronger now than they were in the begining of the season. Now they are a "better" team, and now the players are taking the uphill task as a challenge and that is dangerous. Their coach has the coaching equilivant as a homeless guy has.
All of us know their players;
If we meet them it would be interesting cuz we are stronger but again they wont give us an easy match.

Man U:
They are the only team that i dont want to meet. They are a team that are in supreb form, in both the league and in the CL.Their coach is a genuis in england.
Players like Van Nistelrooy, rooney, gigs,Scholes, and the list goes on , they can change a match in a blink of an eye.
We have the worst record against the english giants, if we meet them we would be the underdogs. We will have to on top of our game to progress.

Barca:
I saved the best for last. The great barca have are in supreb form. They should be in a slump due to the injuries they have, but on the contrarey they barca train is not stopping. They have a good coach, rijkard proved he is a good coach.
We all know their players and they may have more cuz am sure they will get some in January.
Our record is good against barca, but this year we will have to work extra hard , the main thing is not scoring , its not conceding as it sounds just impossible against them

The main thing is that we take every team seriously

bloody tough draw,this.

porto would be ideal, but i wouldn't want to meet man utd, liverpool or bremen as these teams have the ability to play very fast football which could be our downfall.

barcelona is a mouthwatering prospect,to go out against them wouldn't be too embarrassing and if we beat them it'd really be a huge, huge boost.realistically though, the risk might be too big.

if Real are gonna get kicked out,i hope it's us who do the job.ideally this would happen in the final ;),but considering their form this wouldn't be a bad time to face them either.

the only incentive i could think of from us meeting an english team is that i'd get to watch a juve CL match this season at last:groan:

I don't know what it is about Man Utd, those early CL meeting were great for us, we taught them a lesson in European football, even some of the Utd players have admitted this. Lately we can't do sh*t against them.

The one that really p*sses me off is from a few years back in Turin where they rested some of their players having already qualified and we had some returning after being hit with a flu bug, yet they still manged to spank us 0-3.

And who can forget the semi final 2-3?

The whole team was hit then, we practically had a bench of all Primavera players, and a very weakend first 11, with Ferrara and Tacchinardi having a fever the night before the game. The worst thing is, IIRC, that we were pretty good that night and didnt deserve to lose that badly.

On topic, I'm hoping for Porto, Werder or Liverpool.
