there is a big difference, because everyone has his own kind of feet, some people's feet are more comfortable with Adidas than with Nike etc. For example I just can't run with Nike's shoes on, it hurts too much...

If you just choose them by the name, then your just fool...

But youve been made to think that by the shoe company making you feel that your feet have selective needs! FFS, i can run and play kick ass football in any trainer (no skool shoes or sandals:p). Unless your double jointed artritis dictates so, why should you overly pay on the latest shoe from addidas? For special feet? Mine look pretty much the same as every other god damn foot on this world.

I definitely would if they'd fit me...

I don't buy my clothes according their names, I buy them if they fit me and don't look too goofy, as simple as that...
I dont believe you. You gave addidas a look in because you saw their commercials. You did with nike, puma, and reebok too. But if addidas was an unknown brand, chances are that you would go huh? when i say their name.

FFS, are you stupid or what, you're basically saying that it doesn't hurt if I run with Nikes shoes, that your knowing better than I what I feel... :wth:

Besides, I don't buy the latest shoes, when I find something that fits me, I don't change it until they stop making it...

Then don't believe me, I don't really give a fuck what some 15-year-old bloke thinks about me...

I always try the cheapest ones in the market first, and even if I didn't, that's not your problem...

Nah, but how are your feet different from the rest of the world? ive ran in nikes, no problem. I run in any shoe and have no problem. What you cant admit is that you have been influenced by their advertising, making you think feet are different. If you have some sort of feet fungus, or broken toes, then my apologies and you are right. But feet being different is rubbish. Even if it was true, the brands themselves would go for the wider audience and make sure their shoes would expand to fit these feet.

Did you really feel you had to play the 'grown up' card on this situation? Do you really feel the need to elevate yourself in this arguement by doing so, just because your point has lost validation? Well if it makes you feel better when you put your addidas on the shelfs.

Its not my problem of course, but ive been alot richer ever since ive seen this. And being a victim to advertising is nothing to be ashamed about, its happened to everyone and has become such a part of everyday life that we dont notice it.

 the funny thing is that I don't even have Adidas-shoes, (I have cheaper ones) I'd just prefer Adidas-shoes BECAUSE THEY FIT me better!!

And my post has lost it's validation, oh pleeeease, my point hasn't gone anywhere, your just trying to ignore it... Believe what you want to, but being hypocrite doesn't make you better than anyone else around her...

 So now you're saying that because it doesn't hurt you, it doesn't hurt anybody else either...

Feet being different isn't rubbish at all, have you ever really had hiking as a hobby?! I don't think that so...

No, never hiked in my life. Thats why i have a holiday home in the lake district

When i go hiking, strangley enough, i dont wear football shoes. That would be just plain sadistic.

Im saying that people who think these things has been manufactured by advertisments, to think that a certain type of shoe fits you better.

Its bigger then shoes. I started the arguement about the whole polls about advertising in general.

' Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate, so we can buy shit we dont need.'

Ever seen fight club before? :)

Then im very sorry for you, and the effect of my whole arguement was probably wasted. If you would of mentioned this sooner (about diversty) this could of been avoided.

Call me paranoid or anything, but even if I didn't hear the tone of your voice when your saying that, I'd call that sarcastic... :undecide:

Whatever, I'm tired of this... But consider yourself lucky if every kind of athletic shoes really fit you...

Fight club is immense. It really does change your way of thinking. Its not wrong to buy, but its ridiculous to save up for 100,000 euro mercedes just to 'impress' someone, when you could just aswell get a normal volkswagen for much much less. Just think about it. Why are ferrari so good? Yes, cos they are fast and have a good engine (fact) But why do we think they look nice? cos advertisments tell us they look nice. So thats why i argued (past tense!) about it- advertisements tell us the shoes look nice and are good, so people just go out and buy them, because they are told they are nice. Ill let you off with the different feet part.. but in my defense, if feet were so different, advertisers would pick up on that, just like feet grow and shoes are different sizes.
