Il Secolo XIX: The loaning of Alberto Zapater seems to be in the works. Seeing as there are indications Tiago is leaving the 24 year old is a very good replacement.

Nonsense or not: Guus Hiddink is said to have been spotted on Italian soil. His agent is saying "bla bla" in regards to Hiddink moving to Juventus. No smoke without a fire - if Juve lose to Parma then it'll be difficult for Ferrara to keep his job.

OK, let us talk about Mercato News 2009. We signed Diego, Felipe Melo, Grosso, and Caceres. Everyone was over the moon. We all thought these new recruits would bring us Scudetto glory. We were out of the title race by December and many of these same folks said things like Secco is to blame for his shitty summer signings. Amazing really.

First post of the Summer Mercato:

    May 17

Gazzetta dello Sport: Luigi Del Neri revealed this morning to Sampdoria's president that he will be moving to Turin and will coach Juventus next season. "It is a great and important chance which I can not pass up on", said Del Neri reportedly.

All that remains now is the official statement from Juventus that Del Neri and Marotta will continue to do the excellent work they've done for Sampdoria at Juve. The priorities now lie in getting those wingers that Del Neri's system requires which today's Juve lacks.

La Repubblica: Juventus are prepared to offer €15 million plus De Ceglie for Vargas and besides that they could negotiate Giovinco.

Corriere dello Sport: In order to get Bonucci, Marotta is prepared to give Genoa full ownership of Criscito and Palladino. Almiron will remain at Bari.

Il Messaggero: Del Neri is pondering on Rodrigo Taddei.

Tuttosport: Marotta and Galliani have ideas about an exchange: Amauri for Borriello, Manninger for Storari, and Zebina for Bonera. Three Italians from Milan to Juventus in other words. Milan would rather get rid of Huntelaar.
