Gazzetta dello Sport: Sissoko after Nigeria-Mali: "Tomorrow (today i.e.) I will travel to Italy to sign for Juve. I am happy for this opportunity."

We will find out on Monday if Juve's €675,000 bid is enough for O'Neill to let Mellberg go.

Juve are looking for an alternative meanwhile. Secco contacted Lazio yesterday regarding a loan for Guglielmo, Stendardo, who is expected to extend with Lazio through 2012. The key question remains if Juve are to be given an option to buy or not.

Other possible reinforcements are Ferrari (Roma) and Faty (Rennes). Time is running out, at the same time Tiago's move to England is still on standby.

Boumsong is already in Lyon and isn't too keen on returning to Turin.

Juve are getting domestic competition on the hunt for Diego from Fiorentina and Inter.

Sky: Beppe Marotta from Sampdoria has said no to Juve's acquisition of Lucchini.

Gazzetta dello Sport: Tiago is no longer for sale, reported Alessio Secco today. "We have had a few acquires about him and Tottenham has pursued him the last couple of days. Now there isn't enough time for a transfer. Tiago is no longer available [on the mercato]. He will be given time to show what he's capable of", says the Director of Sports.

Regarding Sissoko, Secco says that just a few details remain. He's expected to sign through 2012 today and will then be Juve's third signing this Monday. He will cost between €11-13 million.

Tiago has either Tottenhams bench or Juve's bench to chose between. In other words, Juve want the money. If he leaves then Kalouda will get a place immediately.

The dream for the summer is still Diego.

Juve: Hamsik e Aguero, colpi da Champions

    RealSports.it 13/02/2008

Some names associated with Juve for next year...And RUIneri will prefer 4-4-2 sistem according to the article...So no DIEGO... ONE word: RUIneri SUCKS:inter: :inter:

After a medical and a two hour long meeting between the agents and Juventus, the club told Amauri that everything is ready for a signature except one formality.

According to Sky the problem isn't Lanzafame's will to join West Ham rather than Palermo. He has accepted the move to Palermo. Lanzafame and Nocerino are currently in Toulon with the Olympics team which as delayed the deal.

Amauri's agents aren't entirely happy with the agreement between the clubs and the player regarding the salary. Juventus have therefore been reported to have offered a 5 year contract instead of 4 with the same salary. New meeting in a couple of days.

Corriere dello Sport: Nicolas Burdisso's name has appeared again for the defense, this time as a reserve plan if Campagnaro doesn't arrive. Juve management are talking to Sampdoria regarding the Argentine. Palladino is expected to be the key-figure.

If Iaquinta leaves the club then Juve want to replace him with Fabio Quagliarella, who's also being pursued by Milan.

Olympiakos want Almiron and offer the defender Vasilis Torosidis in exchange.

Juve scouts are present in Toulon to watch Sahin (Feyenoord), Erkin (CSKA Moskva) as well as the Ivoirian Bamba and Frenchman Muratori.

    Tuttosport:
Juventus are once again seeing Antonio Cassano as the future replacement to Del Piero. Palladino could be they key here as well.

Juventus and Portsmouth are showing interest in Nadir Belhadj, Algerian winger at Lens. The club want €4 million.

Juventus are famous for going with homegrown players; however, the latest mercato rumours have been mostly about non-Italians.

    Vice-Buffon wanted.
Secco has run all over Italy in search for a much more trustworthy replacement than Belardi. The first name that appeared was Udineses Handanovic, closely followed by Manninger of Siena. However none of the players seem to have any interest in playing backup to Gigi so the transfers seem unlikely. The latest name to appear is of the veteran Antonioli of Bologna. Francesco's contract runs out soon and [he has] plenty of experience. (Gazzetta dello Sport)

Ranieri is keen on convincing another Liverpool player after Sissoko's journey from the Meyerside to the more beautiful Turin, and the player is Xabi Alonso. Alonso's name has appeared before but Juventus haven't been willing to pay the €18 million. Juve's bid has however been raised from the €13-15 to €17m. The player's agent is said to be visiting Turin for a decisive meeting tomorrow, Monday. (Gazzetta dello Sport & Tuttosport)

Gazzetta dello Sport: Napoli has bought the other half of Blasi from Juve and have extended the co-ownership of Zalayeta.

    Corriere dello Sport:
Roma have turned down Juve's €20 million + Iaquinta offer for Aquilani.

For the leftback position the options are Bridge or Grosso. If Lyon decrease their asking price for Grosso then he'll become a Juve player. Ranieri has also decided that De Ceglie is to return from Siena.

Tiago and Almiron are to leave. The Portuguese will be sold to a foreign club which could be Atletico Madrid. They were interested in January where the negotiations were regarding a loan with an option to buy for €11 million if Tiago had played at least 15 games and if the team reaches Champions League. Juventus are said to accept an offer of €8-9 million.

Almiron will probably be loaned out to an Italian team. Marchionni has asked for a move but he could remain. Iaquinta's future is uncertain.

The team is to consist of 25 players for next season.

Tuttosport: Amauri will sign next Tuesday. Xabi Alonso is demanding €4 million just like Amari. Xabi wants to leave Liverpool according to some sources and according to others he wants to stay.

L'Equipe: Lille midfielder Jean II Makoun wants to switch clubs and Juve are amongst the interested clubs.

Daily Mail: Ranieri has contacted Chelsea to check Wayne Bridge's situation.

i think both burdisso and Campagnaro are not good enough for juve... we should try to get a first team cb than a squad player...
we had some problems in midfield this year but still i think our weakest part was the defense and till now we haven't done anything (ok only mellberg)
we must buy a wc cb and a good lb
