:agree: For a player of his talent and class 15 million is not too steep. The only reason I can see the board not dishing out that kind of money is because he's quite injury prone.

Unless they're just so determined to land Tiago and Almiron they feel they don't need him.
Either scenario seems plausible. I think the Tiago-Almirón midfield could be quite good. However, I still think we need a destroyer.

I don't know why they're are interested for strikers like Bellamy! we already have a lot of striker we have to use what we have such as: Zalayeta, Miccoli ect ect. We need defenders last year quited our best deffenders Thuram and Cannavaro we need players like them!

L'Equipe: Marino Faccioli, sporting chief of Olympique Lyon reveals that Tiago's transfer to Juve is done, just not official yet. The price is around 15 million euro's.

Corriere dello Sport: President Cobilli Gigli says that they think they're going come to an agreement with Trezeguet and that they want to keep him if he wants to stay. Should he want to leave, Juve's interest in Gilardino, who's future at Milan is unsure due to the arrival of Suazo, remains.

AS: Real offer Cannavaro to Juve in exchange for Milito. Cannavaro's agent though, says a move to Italy is unlikely.

Some done deals: Stefano Dicuonzo and Matteo Cavagna will continue to play for Ravenna co-owned. Simone Bentivoglio has been sold to Chievo.

According to Dinamo Zagreb, Robert Kovac will not sign with them. He demanded 6 million euro's over three years which the club can not agree to. Kovac is a Juve player once again for now.

Just out of curiosity can someone fill me in on what kind of season gila had this past year? Personally I wouldn’t mind him "replacing" trez (I use that term extremely lightly).

Sounds good. He can be a good allround midfielder, and considering Aulas' evaluations, €15 mio. is a bargain :)

I think it would be great if we could work out a deal with Trez that made both parties happy, and means that he will stay

This is hopefully BS. I'd take Milito over Cannavaro anyday, although I'd like them to play together. However, it seems unlogical to sell the future and get a veteran.

That's kind of a surprise. I thought that was a done deal...

EDIT: Great work with the translations, Zé :)

I wouldn't take Canna back, besides if he does return it'll be to Napoli not to us.

    Varsågod :)

Cannavaro is the best deffender in the world, but he left us when we mostly needed him. It will be great also for next season in Serie A. He played great last game agains Mallorca. Would anyone forgive him for leaving us last season :p?

Gazzetta dello Sport: Almirón landed in Turin yesterday afternoon and Tiago early this morning. Today at 9:45 they went through a medical escorted by Pessotto. Afterwards they drove to the corso Galileo Ferraris and signed their contracts.

Empoli will get €7m, co-ownership of Paro (worth €1.5m) and Volpato (€500.000) in addition to Giovinco on loan.

Lyon will get €15m. It is rumoured that Milan had offered €17m but that Tiago wanted to uphold his promise that he would go to Juve. Both new signings are expected to be presented at a press conference tonight.

Now that Real have entered into the hunt for Milito, Juve have began to ogle at his compatriot Ezeguiel Garay of Racind Santander. Zaragoza have increased Milito's price to €25m while Juve have offered €16.5m.

20 year old Garay is available for €12m. He has scored 10 goals this season. In 2005 he became the U20 World Champion with Argentina and would have debuted for the A-squad hadn't it been for an injury.

Argentinian press: Juan Roman Requelme will not stay in Boca. Juventus and Manchester United are named as possible destinations.

Co-ownerships that Juve has had (which haven't been mentioned earlier in this article):

    Viktor Boudianski
    is fully owned by Ascoli.
Andrea Gasbarroni is owned by Parma.
Daniele Gastaldello was bought by Juventus who then sold him to Sampdoria.
Douglas Ricardo Packer and Andrea Rossi co-owned by Juve and Siena.
Giovanni Bartoloucci is owned by Siena.
Guiseppe Sculli is owned by Genoa.
Francesco Volpe is owned by Revenna.

Robert Kovac has signed a two year contract with Borussia Dortmund.

Antonio Mirante will be loaned out to Sampdoria.

Juventus have recruited the striker Ciro Immobile from Sorrento. The 17 year old will be in Turin tomorrow for a medical.
