what about the defence? Bounsong is not good. We should sell him and buy Nesta! otherwise we will concede 100 goals next year.

Nesta had a pure crap first half of his last season. He's still young enough, but I am starting to question his formerly unquestionable status as a premier defender.

Corriere dello Sport: Pavel Nedved seems to be retiring. His decision will be made after a meeting with the Juventus management this week.

The problems with Milito force Juve to return to Porto and Pepe. The Portuguese are interested in Miccoli and would like to loan him for a third year, as would Benfica. Napoli are also interested.

Gazzetta dello Sport: Sampdoria want Palladino, but they have little hope. Zalayeta is an alternative.

Tuttosport: Juve are looking for bargains and talents at the Copa America, and watching Brazil defender Alex and Argentina's Gabriel Heinze.

English press: Juve and Arsenal hunt Obafemi Martins, who has a buyout clause at 20 million euros.

Primavera-attacker Davide Lanzafame goes on loan to Bari.

Forgotten Olivier Kapo is sought after by Everton, Birmingham, Mallorca, Betis, Olympiakos and AEK Aten.

Paro could end up in Genoa instead of Empoli. In Genoa, he would reunite with his former Juve primavera coach, Gian Piero Gasperini.
