Ranieri would be a pretty good choice...good to hear Camo and Zeb are staying...it's always better to keep talent rather than buy new players
Ranieri would be a pretty good choice...:wallbang:

Zebina is a talent...:wallbang: :wallbang:

If the board thinks the same, I can assure you that we've to be pleased if we capture the eighth place in Serie A.

wats wrong with Ranieri...if Lippi is not willing to rejoin then he would be a pretty good choice...Zebina I admit has not performed like he should, maybe thats coz he is played out of position? He did really well at CB for AS Roma...

Who is Claudio Ranieri to coach Juventus? He is just an average coach who can manage mid-table teams and struggling teams who fight to avoid relegation. What are his achievements especially in both Stamford Bridge and Mestalla? People think that he, is like Wenger, is capable of re-building squads and they forget that we need a quick impact in Serie A to re-prove ourselves again in our rightful place. Even if he rebuilds our squad, his career speaks on behalf of him; he isn't a top coach.

As for Zebina, what is Zebina's position? As a CB, he can't be described as a talent, we can say that he is solid and quick. But if he is a talent, what are we supposed to call Nesta, Terry, Cannavaro, Maldini, etc....The same applied when he plays as a RB, I can't call him a talent as well. If he is a talented RB, again what are we supposed to call Zambrotta, Sagnol, J. Zanetti, etc...

Let's take a look at who is linked to which team according to the latest transfer rumours coming from Italy.

According to former fans' favourite, Abel Balbo, Roma will lose one of their important players who is currently making the headlines in the transfer market speculations. He probably refers to Christian Chivu, but the Giallorossi fans will be hoping that the Argentinean is wrong.

Luis Figo made a complete U-turn as he declared that he needs 15 days to think about his future, and if he decides not to continue his Inter adventure, he will retire from football. A case of professionalism before money.

Federico Balzaretti of Juventus could be playing for Fiorentina next season as the same player admitted that the Bianconeri have transfer listed him and the Viola have already enquired about him in the past weeks. A decision is expected to be taken following the announcement of the Old Lady's new coach.

Speaking of which, Claudio Ranieri seems to have taken the lead in the race for the Bianconeri's bench, following Marcello Lippi's umpteenth refusal. Manchester City fans will not be too happy about this.

Parma are set to sign Lazio's out of favour striker Simone Inzaghi, who has hardly played a match in these last two years at the Olimpico stadium. The younger brother of Pippo is expected to fill in the empty shoes left by Giuseppe Rossi who returns to Manchester United this summer.

Federico Agliardi of Palermo has revealed his intention on staying with the Rosanero, despite spending almost an entire season being just Fontana's reserve.

Livorno's Marco Amelia would not begrudge a move back to Roma, even though he admitted it would be a difficult thing considering Doni's excellent form this season. However, the former Italian Under-21 keeper is looking forward to move to a big club this summer.

Udinese have yet again denied the reports that Antonio Di Natale is on his way to Rome to wear the Giallorossi's shirt. The only Bianconero striker on the verge of leaving the club is Vincenzo Iaquinta for Juventus as the General Director of the Friulani, Pietro Leonardi, revealed.

Delneri has quit Chievo Verona after re-joining the squad that launched him (or maybe it's him who launched the squad?) into the Italian topflight and among the household names of the peninsula. The decision was taken following the relegation to Serie B football of the Flying Donkeys.

Riccardo Zampagna might actually remain at Atalanta despite the constant transfer speculation surrounding him in the past days. His agent declared that his client's possibilities of remaining with the Bergamaschi have increased to 60% now.

As expected, Gianni De Biasi has left Torino. This was confirmed by the Granata President, with Walter Novellino being the most probable substitute.

Finally, Sampdoria have officially announced that their new coach is Walter Mazzarri, who replaces Novellino at the helm of the squad.

    Tuttosport:
The deal with Udinese that would take Iaquinta to Juve was wrapped up yesterday. He will cost 9 million euro's + half ownership of Paolucci. Iaquinta will sign a 4 year contract and will get 2 million/season. He'll be in Turin at the beginning of next week for a medical checkup and for presentation.

Antonino Mirante will be loaned out to Sampdoria.

Corriere dello Sport: Juve has two goals in their hunt for a coach - the fan favorite Vialli and the experienced Ranieri. Ranieri has from England admitted to "important questions" from Italy(??). Behind these men are Guidolin, Eriksson, and Conte.

If Lyon won't let go of Cris then atttention would be diverted to Gabriel Milito of Zaragosa.

Javier Saviola is still of interest. An extension with Barca seems unlikely. He seemed to have had struck a deal with Juve back in January but nothing became of it. They had agreed on a 4 year contract worth 2-2.5 million euro/season. "Juve is a winning team with great tradition. I'm going to make my decision before the Copa America".

Marca: Ex Juventus player Daniel Fonseca, who's now a FIFA-representative, is a good friend of Trezeguet and Amedeo Carboni, director of sports at Valencia. He's the the link that ties the two teams together. Lately Valencia has shown interest in Trezeguet. Juventus is still in the hunt for Gilardino and are in pole position if Trezeguet decides to leave.
