The only thing that comes to mind with Padoin (ANOTHER Italian) are the words of Diego said about that Marotta wants a (almost?) completely Italian squad.

Yep...thats why Beppe has signed Vidal, Vucinic, Lichsteiner, Caceres...all of whom seem likely to be part of our starting XI for the near to long term future. Wise words...Ledje. Keep 'em coming.

So Padoin is improving what we have in Pazienza? Marrotta needs to make up his mind with his incompetent excuses. This mercato would've been as good or as bad as it is now, had only Caceres come in and those that are leaving had left. Which means Borriello wasnt an improvement over Toni. And Padoin isn't an improvement over Pazienza. I'm ok if we couldn't close Nainggolan for whatever reason. But I'm not ok buying for the sake of it. If we genuinely want quality cover for every position in a CL season then this is not how we are going to be getting it. Somebody needs to sit Marrotta down and show him the Juventus logo, because sometimes he seems to think he's at Siena with the way he operates.
Unbeaten in 20 league games, playing the best football we have played for several years...two coppa games, and we are THROUGH, again unbeaten...why don't you try supporting the team, when we are winning, top of the league, playing wicked football for much of the time, purchasing some potentially brilliant youngsters (all of our youth teams are doing very well indeed), and through to the next round of the cup??? Rather than abuse the management, who have put us where we are today??? just a suggestion...you know...for anyone who actually supports Juve.

i don't think padoin > pazienza
but with pazienza beg to leave, and cagliari reject us, pizzaro going to city so padoin is the only available for us (my suggestion) ...
(there's a question why we not hire palombo instead? i don't think there's too many differences between padoin and palombo,
or why not calling back giandonanto? :boh: because he gain more time to play at lecce maybe)

for boriello, maybe he has lower salary cap than toni

the only big question on my mind, why we hire padoin for 5 YEARS when pazienza just on loan to udinese?? time will answer
