Pizzrro is so injury prone these days that I can't really blame Juve for not making that move, however logical it may have been to get a real Pirlo backup.

Mirko has done well for us though. I am more concerned with these obligation to buys, etc...we can't shake them off and end up rushing to get rid of players like Amauri, IQ, Toni, Motta, Grosso. Just when we clear off a wage bill we add more average joes to it.

We dont need Candreva and obviously none of the other midfielders we didnt got.
We obviouslyneed someone to rot on the bench, besides Piazenza.
This new guy is very versatile and he might get more chances than any of them would.

It was wiser not to invest more cash, on more mediocre subs and save up for quality players in the summer.
Decent subs, means cheaper starters in the summer => non WC again, hopefully we will make the big quality step forward this summer.
The scenery is now set and from this POV, this winter mercato was brilliant (except the Sorensen deal of course)

How come Palombo going to Milan is a great move, but when he was linked with Juve, everyone wanted to castrate management with a rusty spoon?

i think they should give Marrone more of a chance to play, if Conte really does have as much faith in him as he claims. Giaccherini can play MF in a pinch if needed as well. I understand the interest in nainggolan, as that would be quality, but not if the price is too much for anyone to swallow.


I wanted a LB this Mercato, that is what I wanted.

Borriello is great? I would say signing him is like signing Padoin, Caceres I dont rate that highly, but atleast he is solid and covers 2 positions we need players in.
