Honestly I don't see Marrone as a replacement for Pirlo. He is a lot more dynamic and closer to Marchisio in his movement and style of play. Though not identical, he is like a hybrid of Marchisio/Vidal from whatever I've seen of him. Pizarro is the Pirlo prototype, in Italy anyway, I don't think there's a closer fit than him. And the fact that we'll get him for next to nothing makes this a no brainer. Also,
Padoin's versatility doesn't add much in this case as we are looking for someone with a specific skill set, and if nothing, I'd like to hold on to Pazienza. He's been underrated when called upon. Not to mention, underestimated ability wise. Padoin is a bad move and we shouldn't change for the sake of it.

he plays on a the centre 2 in a 4 man middfield or in front of defense in a 3 man middfield he isn't like marchisio who also helps in offense and scores and niether dynamic as vidal who runs everywhere he is a middfielder let's say like a van bommel
he has a good physyque and nice vision and pretty good tecnique
